Joe Rogan reveals surprising update on results of his carnivore diet

Popular podcast host and UFC commentator Joe Rogan has revealed some surprising changes after taking on the carnivore diet at the start of the year.

The carnivore diet has become increasingly popular since stories of its success were shared by popular psychologist Dr. Jordan B Peterson and his daughter Mikhaila, who inspired Rogan to give it a try after appearing on his show.

Although the Rogan had initially claimed that he was experiencing some gruesome side effects after starting the new diet, he shared some surprising news with his fans after completing his first month.

The UFC commentator released his latest update on the diet on January 31 and, to many fans’ surprise, Joe Rogan explained that there were many upsides to his new eating habits.

“So I did the carnivore diet for all of January” Rogan shared, “I lost 12 pounds, gained a ton of energy, my energy levels were completely flat the whole month, no ups and downs from crashing after eating.”

“I had a belly and a lot of people made fun of me and fat-shamed me,” he expressed, before taking his shirt off to reveal his progress, ”I lost all my fat, I lost all of the belly, I lost my love handles.”

Although he was happy with the effects that came along with the strict diet, Rogan was still unsure if he was stick with it, “I don’t know if I’m going to keep eating like this but it was tremendously beneficial.”

Rogan also explained that he had an autoimmune disorder and even it was affected by the new diet, “I also have an autoimmune disorder, its called vitiligo, and my vitiligo improved, I had a bunch of white spots fill in.”

“I went into it thinking that this carnivore diet was wacky and I probably would think it’s nonsense but this is as good as I’ve felt in a long time,” the popular podcast host claimed after admitting he was initially skeptical of the diet.

He also later shared that the more gruesome side effects of starting the diet were quick to go away, explaining that his body adapted to the major shift in lifestyle after sticking with it for two weeks.
