During a live music stream on Twitch by the band ‘Halocene’, the performance was brought to a halt after an unexpected interruption left the guitarist screaming in fear.
One of the thrills of seeing a band perform at a concert is the unpredictability of live performances where the ‘anything can happen’ atmosphere brings fans an unforgettable experience.
Some musicians have taken to Twitch to stream their sets instead, and during a stream on September 4, things took a hilarious turn for the band Halocene when the guitarist was disrupted right has he was getting into the groove.
Attacked by a falling object
While covering a song by Bruno Mars, Halocene’s performance came to a stop when their guitar player was given the shock of his life.
Seemingly out of nowhere, a soundproof cover they had on the window to block out the sun came crashing down on the musician which left him screaming.
“Ahhh Jesus Christ!” he shrieked, as the unexpected object completely startled him. The singer tried to stop it from falling, but it was too late, as the guitar player threw off his headphones and dropped his instrument in shock.
After the musician scrambled across the room, he stood up and yelled “It scared the shit out of me! Oh my god!”
The moment was made all the more hilarious by his band mates’ reaction, as the multi camera stream captured their expressions in the moment. The drummer immediately broke down laughing at the guitarist’s scrambling for safety.

While catching his breath, the guitarist realized what had scared him, and was disappointed after he had worked for hours on soundproofing the room. “Oh my god! You know how long that took to build!?” he exclaimed.
The rest of the band couldn’t stop laughing, as the musician explained why he was so scared. “That scared the shit out of me. I had no idea what that even was. This thing was just on me. It was like soft, or like a monster!”
“Oh god, now this is all falling apart. Jesus Christ” he finished, after examining what had dropped on him more closely.
Halocene are a rock band from Phoenix, Arizona, and have opened up tours for big-name acts like Blink 182 and Fall Out Boy.
The group streams on Twitch regularly, and has amassed just over 16,000 followers as of September 4.
