In fact, one of Anita’s tics would often get triggered by her own Twitch chat during live broadcasts – a tic that she claimed would cause her to throat to bleed from being activated so often.

A quick look through the streamer’s clips show humorous moments where her tics crop up with near-perfect comedic timing – but one tic, triggered by the word “banana,” wasn’t as funny as it was destructive – until now.

Anita gave fans a hopeful update with the tic in a Tweet on September 3, where she announced that she was finally “free” from it, cheerfully laughing as she repeated the word “banana” without being set off.

Anita is very open about her Tourettes syndrome, explaining her condition to fans and even telling hilarious stories about her life – but not every day is a good day for the streamer, who admitted that family members are currently pestering her for money in light of her success on Twitch.

Despite having a rough go of it, Anita’s success with her debilitating tic marks a positive turn for the streamer in the face of her current struggles – a success that her fanbase is happy to celebrate alongside her.
