YouTube honored MrBeast’s accomplishments by gifting the social media star a unique trophy after he became the first individual creator to reach 200 million subscribers.

Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has become a household name thanks to his viral videos on YouTube.

The creator is best known for his big-budget videos, over-the-top challenges, and charitable endeavors — not to mention giving away jaw-dropping amounts of cash to his friends and people in need.

He’s also branched out into the food biz, starting up MrBeast Burger in 2020 and launching his own line of ‘Feastables’ chocolate bars that are so popular, stores are struggling to keep them in stock.

It’s safe to say that MrBeast is one of the most popular content creators in the world right now… and his subscriber count reflects that.

MrBeast gets massive trophy for breaking 200 million YouTube subs

In 2022, MrBeast famously surpassed PewDiePie in subscribers, who previously held the site’s record for most subscribers until he was beaten out by T-Series.

Now, MrBeast has broken another major record, reaching 242 million subscribers as of March 2024 — the first individual creator to ever do so.

YouTube has recognized this monumental achievement by gifting the creator a unique trophy to reflect his efforts, which he showed off in a celebratory tweet on March 4.

This isn’t the first time YouTube has created a unique award for creators who break the mold on its platform. In 2019, both PewDiePie and T-Series were famously gifted a Red Diamond play button for breaking 100 million subscribers in a first for the website.

While MrBeast isn’t YouTube’s most-subscribed channel, he is the most-subscribed individual creator on the platform… but he’s keen on reaching the number one spot at some point in the future.
