World of Warcraft is getting its next Weekly Bonus Event, and Blizzard has confirmed it is going to be World Quest-focused.
The developer behind the game is continuing its history of a rotating Weekly Bonus Events system. Within that, one of the game’s myriad activities will become active. In turn, players will receive more significant rewards than they would under normal circumstances.
Additionally, each event will contain a one-time quest, which should offer further themed rewards. The next event of this type will start this week when the game goes offline for weekly maintenance.
As such, Blizzard has confirmed the theme of that event and the rewards on offer to diligent players.

WoW Weekly Bonus Event World Quests explained
In a post on the official WoW website, the developer confirmed the details around the Weekly Bonus Event. Any world quests completed by the player will offer an additional 50% reputation gain. Additionally, players will be able to complete a specific quest for a one-time reputation reward. The full details of that quest are as follows:
- Kazra in Valdrakken has a quest for you—The World Awaits. You can also start the quest from within the Adventure Guide (Shift-J).
- Quest requirement: Complete 10 World Quests in the Dragon Isles
- Reward: Get 2500 reputation with one of the Major Factions: Dragonscale Expedition, the Iskaara Tuskarr, the Maruuk Centaur, and the Valdrakken Accord
With the expansion slowly winding down over the course of the year, the intention here is to allow people to complete their reputation grinds more easily. The in-game event calendar has full details of each event as the weeks progress and associated quests can be accepted via the Adventure Guide.
That’s all there is to know about the next Weekly Bonus Event in World of Warcraft. As the event changes each week, keep an eye out for new rewards and ways to make that grind a little easier.
