Valorant Esports blog released the plans for the 2023 OFF//SEASON three days earlier than expected, revealing that there are over 40 events scheduled across the world of Valorant esports.
The long Valorant off-season has been a hotly-contested topic among both players and fans. For those who didn’t make it to Valorant Champions, the lengthy off-season has an especially large impact on their pro careers.
And, while a lineup of invitational tournaments and smaller-scale events doesn’t exactly fix those issues, it does give players an opportunity to for players to compete and gives viewers something to watch as they anxiously await the 2024 season.
It’s been revealed that the OFF//SEASON will host at least 43 events around the world, some of which are open bracket and welcome new competitors while others are purely invitational.
Valorant OFF//SEASON stacked with over 40 events
Valorant is truly a global esport, and the OFF//SEASON lineup reflects that. From North and South America to Europe and all the way into Asia, there are events happening all over the place. There’s a healthy mix of online and in-person LAN events in here as well, giving aspiring pros the opportunity to play online if they can’t afford travel.

One major standout in this line-up are Ludwig x Tarik Invitational 2. The first event was a bit hit amongst fans. The Guard took the first tournament, but new contenders will be keen to take that trophy next.
Fans responded to the first Ludwig event in an overwhelmingly positive manner at the time, and there are other events in here that have fans excited for what’s to come in the OFF//SEASON.
The biggest winners from the proposed OFF//SEASON line up were the Americas region. With 17 events across North and South America, the region will be getting a lot of action. Meanwhile, Europe isn’t too happy with only getting nine events in comparison.
Valorant Esports has been showing some of its highest-level gameplay yet. And the most trash talk fans have seen yet. But big names in the Valorant community have voiced support – Tarik wants more trash talk at Valorant Champions: “We should pay them when they talk sh**.”
