FunPlus Phoenix have announced the final member of their European Valorant roster, former CSGO pro Dmitriy ‘dimasick’ Matvienko.
Valorant esports fans have been waiting with bated breath to see who FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) had chosen to replace Johan ‘Meddo’ Lundborg.
When FPX announced that Meddo would not be sporting the FPX jersey this year, fans all across the globe were stunned. The Swedish Sentinel main had popped off many a time throughout the First Strike Europe tournament, but parted ways with the iconic franchise soon after.
FPX have finally found the last piece of their Valorant puzzle though, and that’s former CS:GO pro dimasick.
Dimasick signs to FPX Valorant squad
The former CS:GO pro, who has represented Gambit and AVANGAR previously – including at CS:GO Majors, has become the final member for the FPX Valorant European roster.
An announcement of January 4 asked FPX fans to “give a warm welcome to dimasick, who will now serve as a member of our VALORANT division.”
