Twitch streamer and former Overwatch League star Daniel ‘Dafran’ Francesca was forced to ban a toxic viewer for demanding he go back to Overwatch and stop playing Valorant.
During his April 14 broadcast, the Danish DPS prodigy was playing as Sova when a two-year subscriber took issue with Dafran’s choice of game.
“Valorant will last less than 10 mins,” the viewer claimed. “It’s sh*t.”
This started a bit of a flame war in chat, prompting other viewers to argue with the 24-month subscriber about playing Valorant.
Eventually, Francesca himself chimed in and laid into the viewer for being negative. “What you’re doing is like going to a party and everybody is having fun, and then you say, ‘This party f**king sucks,’” Dafran roasted.
“Dude, the people here are not watching for Overwatch,” he added. “We don’t care about that. We care about this game. This game is fun. You’re in the wrong place my dude, go back to Overwatch. Like, what are you doing here? No one wants you here.”
That didn’t stop the negative viewer from continuing to argue about the games, so the streamer decided to ban him.

“I’m going to have to time you out,” Dafran disappointedly said, much to the pleasure of the rest of his viewers. “It’s going to be a Valorant stream for a long time. You can just unsub, I don’t care. I don’t want to see this talk in the chat. Go somewhere else, dude.”
Shortly thereafter, the Danish streamer revealed there was only one way he would stop playing Valorant.
“I don’t think anything is going to stop me from playing this game. Even if I go down to 100 viewers,” he shockingly proclaimed. “The only thing that’s going to stop me from playing this game is if I plateau and I’m not improving as a player. Or if the game dies.”
“If I stop improving and I’m just hardstuck and I can’t become a good player, then I’m going to quit,” he concluded.
For Overwatch fans looking to see Dafran click heads, it seems like they’re going to have to go elsewhere to get their fix.
