According to industry insider Slasher, Twitch reported Dr Disrespect to the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children, or NCMEC, over the explicit nature of his messages to a minor.
Though many have been critical of how long it took for this information to come out, Twitch took further action against the Doc much earlier than was publicly known if his claims are true.
Slasher, also known as Rod Breslau, released a report for Rolling Stone detailing the situation around Dr Disrespect in the time after the reason for his Twitch ban was leaked, and he has a wealth of insider information on the topic.
Breslau’s sources claim Twitch reported Dr Disrespect, also known as Guy Beahm, to the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children after the ban.
Slasher has been unable to find any evidence of a follow up from law enforcement or an indication that they took this investigation any further.
“I did public records requests at courthouses across SoCal and never found anything. This is corroborated by Mikhail Klimentov, whose colleagues at The Washington Post did the same,” he told Dexerto.

“The Twitch source I have confirmed they reported to NCMEC, but anything after that in terms of a potential law enforcement organization, I do not have information of.”
This would mean that, if a report was made, that it either hasn’t gone anywhere or that there’s an investigation underway. However, Twitch hasn’t been afraid to threaten legal action against those on their platform who engaged in sexual misconduct in the past.
Just 5 days before Dr Disrespect’s ban from the platform, Twitch put out a statement regarding how they handle sexual misconduct. They stated they would work with law enforcement “where applicable”.
The content of the messages Dr Disrespect sent is unknown at the time of writing. In his statement, he categorized the messages to a minor as “leaning toward inappropriate” but didn’t elaborate.
