The nine hottest boys on TV this summer came back to give fans an update on life after the dating series with The Boyfriend Reunion.
Nobody saw it coming, but the Netflix dating series The Boyfriend soon became the most binge worthy TV show on the platform.
Over the course of 10 episodes, nine boys lived in a picturesque villa for a summer with one shared goal – find a boyfriend before they leave. Oh, and learn how to operate a coffee truck to pass the time.
Of course, all good things must come to an end, as did the new TV show. But not for long, since a reunion soon followed, where fans could find out what happened after the cast left. If you missed it, here’s where to watch The Boyfriend Reunion now.
The Boyfriend Reunion is now available online
The Boyfriend Reunion was uploaded to YouTube by Netflix Japan after it was streamed.
That makes it easy to watch if you missed it the first time around, or if you just want to remind yourself of where everyone’s at.
Originally, the reunion was live-streamed on both X and YouTube on August 3, 2024.
All nine members of the original The Boyfriend cast – Alan, Dai, Gensei, Ikuo, Kazuto, Ryota, Shun, Taehon, and Yusaku – were in attendance.

You might think this is a bit surprising, given all ten episodes of the original series went straight to Netflix, but since the reunion already streamed on YouTube, it seems as though they decided to keep it in the same place. Makes sense!
How to get subtitles
Don’t panic – if you need English subtitles for The Boyfriend reunion, you can get them by turning on the ‘closed captions’ feature on YouTube, like below:
English subtitles were always on the cards for the reunion, as made evident by Netflix from the beginning.
The official line from the streaming service was: “Panel and full cast reunion. Will be available for replay, with English subtitles added later. No English subtitles during the stream, though live chat audience may offer some translations.”
