The Boys released new posters for their upcoming fourth season and, while fans love them, they can’t help but notice one detail.
Amazon Prime Video‘s hit original series The Boys is due to return soon with its highly anticipated fourth season.
Set in a world where superheroes are real and worshipped by the public, the show focuses on a group of vigilantes who tirelessly work to take down the corrupt supes.
The show just released new posters for the upcoming season and fans are absolutely loving them, but some can’t help but focus on one detail about them.
The Boys Season 4 focuses on real world politics
While the show released a few pictures for Season 4, the one fans can’t stop talking about is that of Homelander, the sadistic and psychopathic Superman-type character, whose dead-eyed stare is above the tagline, “Make America Super Again.”
This is an obvious nod to Donald Trump’s infamous 2016 campaign slogan “Make America Great Again,” which many have conflated with white supremacy and other radical ideas.

The Boys fans were quick to pick up on this similarity with one Twitter user writing, “The politics is crazy.”
Another Twitter user pointed out that the two slogans also share an almost identical acronym with Trump’s reading “MAGA” and Homelander’s reading “MASA.”
Below are more reactions to the new Season 4 poster:
The Boys Season 4 will mostly deal with a lot of politics as Homelander is backing presidential candidate Victoria Neuman in the hopes that she will help him with his agenda to make superheroes the dominant “race” in America.
The season also acts as a continuation of the spin-off series Gen V, which ended with Homelander recruiting two highly powerful super college students to his cause.
