Reacher Season 3 launches on Prime Video this week, so here’s details of which characters are returning, and what new actors have joined the cast.
Reacher has been a huge hit for Amazon, with Season 1 an adaptation of Lee Child’s first book in the series, Killing Floor, and Season 2 based on 2007 tome Bad Luck and Trouble.
Season 3 is an adaptation of the 2003 novel Persuasion, and finds Reacher becoming entangled with a shady rug merchant with ties to an enemy from his past.
Alan Ritchson once again plays Jack Reacher, Anthony Michael Hall and Oliver Richters have joined the cast as villains, while an old friend makes a surprising return…
Reacher Season 3 cast and characters
These are the major members of the Reacher Season 3 cast, with details of the characters they play, and their past credits.
This is based on the first three episodes, which drop on February 20, 2025, while’ll add to the list as-and-when new characters appear in the show. And we’ll go into the odd plot detail, so MILD SPOILERS ahead…
Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher
Alan Ritchson plays Jack Reacher, the man mountain who was a military policeman, and now drifts from to town trying to stay out of trouble. But due to his size and stature – as well as his desire to do the right thing – trouble usually finds him.
Ritchson is 6’2″ with blond hair and big muscles, making him a good physical fit for the 6’5″ character. Especially when compared to Tom Cruise, who played Reacher in a pair of movies.
Alan Ritchson is best known for his turn as Aquaman in Smallville, while he also starred in Blue Mountain State, Titans, and Blood Drive. On the big screen, Ritchson has appeared in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Fast X, and most recently The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
Anthony Michael Hall as Zachary Beck
Anthony Michael Hall plays Zachary Beck, the villain of Season 3, who has generational wealth, but also earns money importing and exporting rugs through his company, Bizarre Bazaar. But his huge security detail and the fact that his son keeps getting kidnapped suggests that Beck is up to something altogether shadier.
Anthony Michael Hall was a child star who found fame in the John Hughes movies Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, and Weird Science. He then became Saturday Night Live’s youngest cast member, while in 2002 he spent five years starring in a TV adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dead Zone.
Johnny Berchtold as Richard Beck
Johnny Berchtold plays Richard Beck, Zachary’s son, whose ear was cut off and mailed to his father when Richie was previously kidnapped. He finds himself in a similar situation at the start of Season 3.
Berchtold had a big 2023, appearing in comedy-drama Tiny Little Things on TV, and starring in the movies Dog Gone, Snow Falls, and The Passenger.
Oliver Richters as Paulie
Alan Ritchson is huge, making it tough for the producers to find co-stars who will give him a fair fight in the show. But they’ve succeeded with Oliver Richters, who plays Zachary Beck’s henchman Paulie.

The Dutch Giant – who measures 7 foot and 2 inches – has segued from bodybuilding into acting, playing heavies in high-profile projects like Black Widow, The King’s Man, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and Borderlands.
Sonya Cassidy as Susan Duffy
Sonya Cassidy plays no-nonsense federal agent Susan Duffy, whose DEA investigation into Zachary Beck’s dodgy business brings her into contact with Jack Reacher, resulting in them collaborating on the case.
Cassidy is a British actress whose TV credits include stints on The Tudors, The Paradise, Humans, Lodge 49, The Last Kingdom, and The Man Who Fell to Earth.
Brian Tee as Francis Xavier Quinn
Brian Tee plays Quinn, a Lieutenant Colonel whom Reacher knows from his army days, and calls “the single worst person I’ve ever met.” Quinn is somehow involved in the overarching Season 3 storyline.
Brian Tee played the villain in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, while he also popped up in The Wolverine and Jurassic World. Tee has previously acted opposite Alan Ritchson too, playing Shredder to his Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows in 2016.
Maria Sten as Frances Neagley
Maria Sten plays fan-favorite Frances Neagley, who debuted in Season 2, and is a surprise member of the Season 3 cast, as the character doesn’t appear in the source novel. Neagley served with Reacher in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit as a Master Sergeant, now works in corporate security, and and is the closest Jack has to a best friend.
Sten is best known for her starring roles as Crystal Reed in the Swamp Thing TV series, and as Jillian Hope Hodgson in horror show Channel Zero: The Dream Door.
Is Roscoe in Season 3 of Reacher?
Roscoe Conklin was a small-town cop in Season 1 of Reacher, who embarked on a brief relationship with Jack. The character is mentioned in Season 2, but doesn’t appear, and it looks like Roscoe won’t be in Season 3 eather, unless she pops up in a secret cameo. In which case we’ll update this article.
Conklin was played by Willa Fitzgerald, who has been busy carving out a niche for herself in horror, starring in MTV’s Scream series, The Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix, and one of 2024’s breakout genre hits, Strange Darling.
Is Karla Dixon in Reacher Season 3
Karla Dixon served alongside Reacher in the in the 110th Special Investigations Unit, where sparks flew between the pair, but nothing physical happened. That all changed in Season 2 of Reacher, during which the pair hooked up.
The character now works as a forensic accountant in corporate risk management, and like Roscoe, there’s nothing to currently suggest she’ll appear in Season 3, but we’ll update this article if she cameos.
Karla is played by Serinda Swan, who appeared in Smallville like Alan Ritchson, playing Zantanna Zantara. Swan also starred in Ballers, Inhumans, Coroner, Graceland, and Breakout Kings, while her biggest movie role was playing Aphrodite in the Percy Jackson movie.
