Netflix’s latest installment featured a larger cast competing for the coveted title of the ultimate physique. Discover the updated roster of Physical 100 Season 2 contestants.
Amid the success of Single’s Inferno, The Devil’s Plan, and more, Physical 100 Season 2 was a knockout. It pitted bodybuilders, firefighters, Olympic athletes, gym enthusiasts, and more against each other.
After the Physical 100 Season 1 winner, the ominous host revealed they weren’t done looking for the greatest. While we wait for Physical 100 Season 3, let’s take a trip down memory lane.
The first season featured notable celebrities like Tarzan, Agent H, and mixed martial artist Choo Sung-hoon. These were the hopefuls who came after.
Kim Dong-hyun
Kim Dong-hyun is one of the season’s celebrities that Korean entertainment fans will recognize. He started his career as a fighter in Japan and South Korea before joining the UFC’s welterweight division as its first South Korean fighter. He’s trained in Judo, Taekwondo, and Hapkido. Kim is currently retired and married with three children.
When it comes to his celebrity status, many know him from series like Law of the Jungle, Master in the House, DoReMi Market, The Return of Superman, and Strong Heart. He was eliminated in Round 3. You can follow him on Instagram @stungunkim.
During the competition series, some fans felt Kim was being too cocky during the first elimination challenge when gloating about the win against Emmanuel.
Hong Beom-seok
Returning to Physical 100 was Season 2 contestant Hong Beom-seok. He was eliminated early on in the competition series and returns to once again prove his worth. Hong is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to his credentials as a former special forces soldier of the Republic of South Korea.
He was discharged as a sergeant in 2017 and appointed as a firefighter and a rescue specialist. In 2022, he quit being a firefighter to take part in a competition series. He’s good friends with Season 1 contestant Agent H. You can follow him on Instagram @hongbeomseok_.
Hong redeemed himself during in Physical 100 Season 2. He went on to be one of the main team captains and secured himself as a favorite among fans. Unlike the first season, Hong was successful in reaching the finale but didn’t win. He’s currently back to his routine, at the gym with his son, and his YouTube channel.
Sim Yu-ri
Physical 100 Season 2 introduced Sim Yu-ri. She’s a mixed martial artist and fighter. According to her Instagram, she’s a Road FC Champion and CrossFit Coach. On YouTube and Instagram, she showcases parts of her life and intense training.
She was eliminated in Round 2 as part of Hwang’s team. Since her elimination, Yu-ri has continued to train as a fighter and endorsed Nike for a campaign.
Kang Cheong-myeong
Netflix introduced Kang Cheong-myeong to the cast for Physical 100 Season 2. He’s a Coast Guard officer who also appeared in the reality competition series Steel Troops. The series gathered male army reserve soldiers from various special forces units. They group together to take on a series of challenges to test their skills. He was eliminated in Round 4. As part of Hong’s team, he was an asset but ultimately found himself at a loss individually. Since leaving the series, he’s back to his everyday life.
Lim Soo-jin
Like the first season, Season 2 had bodybuilders, including IFBB Figure Pro Lim Soo-jin. Her Instagram page reveals her efforts in the gym to sculpt and craft every muscle in her body. The question was whether her impressive physique would be enough to survive Physical 100 Season 2. That was answered when she was eliminated in Round 3.
Lim was a fan favorite for her immense strength that even stunned some of the male contestants. She proved her muscles were more than for show during the cart relay. She’s currently back at the gym sculpting her muscles.
Ku Sung-hoe
Ku Sung-hoe is a Reserve sergeant for the 707th Counter-Terrorism Special Mission Team and a Pentathlon athlete. He also appeared in Steel Troops 2 as part of the 707th team. You can follow him on Instagram @sunghoe_ku.
It’s unclear where in the competition series he was eliminated. His Instagram shows him remaining active and running.
Ko Jong-hun
Like other contestants for Season 2, Ko Jung-hun also comes from a military background. He’s a Special Operations Unit Member. He won a gold medal in jiu-jitsu at the 2022 World Police and Fire Games, and was eliminated in Round 3. Per his Instagram, he’s also an IBJJF Black belt.
Ko was on Kim’s team for the most intense matches but ultimately was eliminated alongside his teammates before the finale. Since then, he’s back training in jiujitsu and met actor Ma Deong-seok.
Gibson
Gibson was one to watch in Physical 100 Season 2. He’s a United States Army Officer from the 411th Contracting Support Brigade at Camp Humphreys and is a powerlifter. Gibson made it to Round 4. You can follow him on Instagram @barbellandprotein.
Throughout the Physical 100 Season 2, some fans weren’t too keen on Gibson’s more forceful approach during the Maze challenge. But he managed to make it far within the competition up until the fourth quest. He’s now back with his family and still trains to improve his physique.
Park Woo-jin
Joining the ranks of military personnel who competed in the new season was Park Woo-jin. He’s a Coast Guard Officer for South Korea. Per his Instagram, he’s part of the Coast Guard Rescue Team and Ship Salvage Unit 62nd. He was eliminated in Round 4. You can follow him on Instagram @pwj__62.
Park was part of Andre Jin’s team and went far to prove himself on the bars in the relay match. Per his Instagram, he’s back to his routine.
Seol Young-ho
Physical 100 Season 2 cast included MMA fighter Seol Young-ho. According to Tapology, he’s a heavyweight fighter with one loss. He was eliminated in Round 4. You can follow him on Instagram @young__ho.
Seol went up against his teammates in Round 4 but lost, leaving Hong to move on to the final challenges. His Instagram reveals he’s back to training as a fighter and attended events with his fellow contestants.
Jo Sung-bin
Another MMA fighter who joined the cast was Jo Sung-bin. On his Instagram, he’s known as the Korean Falcon who is a UFC and PFL fighter. He’s a featherweight fighter based in the US with nine wins and three losses. He was eliminated in Round 4.
Jo was a favorite throughout the competition for his easy-going charm. He was slightly hurt during the bars relay but managed to make it to Round 4. Per his Instagram, he has done events with the contestants and filmed for his YouTube channel. It was also revealed he had minor surgery done on his ankle from the injury he sustained while filming.
Ham Young-jin
Ham Young-jin joined Physical 100 Season 2 thanks to his experience as a police officer and his skill in judo. He was a former national judo team athlete and went on a special track to becoming an officer thanks to his martial arts background.
He was eliminated in Round 3 as part of Lee Won-hee’s team. You can follow him on Instagram @ooooojin.
Hunter Lee
Physical 100 Season 2 shook things up by broadening the contestant pool. The season included FBI diplomat Hunter Lee. Some sleuthing online found a LinkedIn profile of someone with the same name. The profile reveals he works for the United States Embassy in Seoul, is a U.S. Navy Reserve, and has served 12 years with the FBI.
Sim Yu-ri eliminated him during the wrestling match. You can follow him on Instagram @huntandcapture_. Per his Instagram, he’s back to living his life and some golfing.
Hwang Mun-kyeong
Hwang Mun-kyeong joined the competition series with her expertise as a firefighter and paramedic. A Google search of her name resulted in her participation in a CrossFit competition. You can follow her on Instagram @mung._.gi.
Since Physical 100 Season 2, Hwang is back to her work as a firefighter and training in Crossfit. It’s hard to pinpoint when in the series Hwang was eliminated and likely occurred during the first challenge.
Jang Sung-yeop
Physical 100 Season 2 cast included bodybuilder Jang Sung-yeop. Per his Instagram, he’s also an IFBB Pro and knows Season 1 contestant Kim Kang-min. It was clear that Jang had the muscles to intimidate, but he didn’t make it to the finals.
He was eliminated in Round 2 as part of Thanos’s team and didn’t survive the redemption challenges.
Lee Hyun-woo
Lee Hyun-woo is a bodybuilder who joined Physical 100 Season 2 but didn’t become a finalist. You can follow him on Instagram @life_hyunwoo. Not much has happened since leaving the series, with his Instagram showing he’s hard at work in the gym as a bodybuilder.
Kang Eun-hee
Competing with some of the best was the bodybuilder Kang Eun-hee. With thousands of followers on Instagram, Kang shows tidbits about her personal life and intense training. Her Instagram doesn’t show any updates after the competition.
Fans only see her at the start of the series but are unsure when she was eliminated. It can be speculated she didn’t make it too far.
Kim Nam-wook
And yet another bodybuilder was added to the roster with Kim Nam-wook. The 27-year-old explained on his Instagram that he has a master’s degree in exercise physiology and dreams of becoming a national athlete.
Since Physical 100 Season 2, his Instagram reveals he’s spending his time in the gym as a bodybuilder. For the series, it can be specualted he didn’t make it to the second round.
Kim Min-su
Known as Thanos among fans, Kim Min-su joined Physical 100 Season 2 as a competitor. He’s an IFBB Pro bodybuilder and Olympian. His Instagram revealed he also knows Season 1 contestant Jin Hyeong-jo. He was chosen by Jung Ji-hyun to be in the Avengers team but was later eliminated in Round 4.
Kim was a favorite due to his impressive physicality and strength. He was brought back during the redemption challenge. But he was eliminated during the barrel relay. After the series, he went back to his life making content for social media and met up with his former contestants.
Jung Ji-hyun
The second group of contestants announced by Netflix for Physical 100 Season 2 was national athletes. One was national wrestler Jung Ji-hyun. Jung is the only Korean athlete to have won a gold medal in Greco-Roman wrestling at the 2004 Athens Olympics. He has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Physical Education and is a coach. He made it to Round 4. You can follow him on Instagram @jung_jihyun83.
Jung was an underdog who got a chance to redeem himself during the redemption challenge. As a new team leader, he got to pick the ultimate team nicknamed the Avengers. Among his team, he lost to Amotti before reaching the finale. He too has appeared on other contestants’ YouTube channels and his own.
Jung You-in
Jung You-in is a national swimmer with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Application Industry from Yonsei University. She began swimming at the age of five and continued her athletic career winning multiple medals. During the Olympic trials, she placed second in the 100m freestyle but did not join the Olympic team. She has also worked as a commentator for the Tokyo Olympics. She was eliminated in Round 4. You can follow her on Instagram @youin_jung.
She was part of Andrew Jin’s team and was one of the few females to make it as far as the others. But she ultimately lost against her teammates heading into the finale. Since the series, she’s still training as a swimmer and rides her motorcycle.
Shin Soo-ji
Shin Soo-ji joins the cast of Physical 100 Season 2 for her career as a national rhythmic athlete and bowler. She was the first Korean to qualify for the All-around finale at the World Championships. In her career, she joined the 2008 Beijing Olympics but didn’t reach the final 10. Shin also won a bronze medal in All-around at the 2009 Asian Championships. After retiring from the sport, she became a commentator. She was eliminated by Park Ha-yan. You can follow her on Instagram @shinsjsj.
Lee Won-hee
Lee Won-hee was an interesting competitor as he is a quadruple judo champion. Lee achieved first place in the men’s lightweight category during the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens, Greece, earning the gold medal. He was the world champion in 2003 and went on to win gold in the 2006 Asian Games. As well as the 2003 Asian Judo Championships. Lee is also a teacher and was promoted to head coach on the Korean Women’s Judo National Team in 2015. You can follow him on Instagram @judo_is_leewonhee.
He was eliminated in Quest 3 alongside his team against Hwang Choong-won’s team. Overall, Lee wasn’t a bad team leader. Since Physical 100 Season 2, he’s gone back to his life and even celebrated his child’s 100 days.
Park Seung-hee
Taking on the competition was Park Seung-hee, a former South Korean short-track and long-track speed skater. She is also a multiple medal winner having won two golds and three bronzes at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics. Her brother and sister are also involved in the sport. Park announced her retirement after the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics.
On her Instagram, she’s also a mother and shares part of her daily life. It’s speculate Park went as far as the first challenge before elimination.
Mo Tae-bum
Mo Tae-bum is a speed skater who became the 2010 Olympic Champion and the 2012 and 2013 World Champion in 500 m. At the 2009 Winter Universiade, he won gold in the 1000m and 1500m events. In 2010, he gained attention for being the first Korean to win a gold and silver medal in long-track speed skating and a 1000m race. Per his Instagram, he also knows Physical 100 Season 2 contestant Kim Dong-hyun.
After the series, he’s posted photos of himself enjoying gold, and even wrestling fellow contestant Kim Dong-hyun. Mo was one of the contestants who didn’t make it as far as the others in the competition.
Andre Jin
Andre Jin was one of Physical 100 Season 2’s somewhat foreign competitors. Jin was born in Korea to an American father and a Korean mother. He is a rugby sevens player who competed in the 2022 Summer Olympics. Per his Instagram, he also knows Season 2 contestant Jin Hyeong-jo.
He was also a favorite in the competition being team leader, but also reaching the final four. But he couldn’t withstand the pre-finale challenge against Amotti and Hong Beom-seok. After the series, he went back to being an athlete and appeared on Knowing Bros.
Kim Do-hyeon
Kim Do-hyeon is a Korean national boxer who joined the competition series. He fights in the heavyweight division and has appeared in other shows such as Running Man, Let’s Play Soccer, Steel Troops, and more. You can follow him on Instagram @187dddd.
He was part of Amotti’s first team, but was sadly eliminated and didn’t make it through the redemption challenge. As a professional boxer, Kim is back to training and attended Kim Jee-hyuk’s wedding.
Kim Dong-hyun
Another national athlete is Kim Dong-hyun. He’s a bobsledder who has competed since 2008 who competed in the 2010 Winter Olympics. At the 2018 Winter Olympics, he and his team won the silver medal against the German team. They became the first Korean team to win a medal in a bobsleigh event. He was picked by Jung Ji-hyuk to rejoin in the Avengers team. You can follow him on Instagram @iwillprepare.
Despite joining the Avengers, Kim was eliminated during the finale. He is back to his life with his wife and attends events with the cast.
Kim Jee-hyuk
Kim Jee-hyuk is a Korean national rowing team athlete who has won multiple national medals. He was eliminated in Season 2 in Round 2 and was eliminated again in Round 4 after he was chosen to join the Avengers team. You can follow him on Instagram @kimjeehyuk.
As part of Jung Ji-hyun’s team, Kim was eliminated going up against his teammates in Quest 4. He’s often reunited with his former castmates and got married to his girlfriend.
Kim Hyeong-kyu
Kim Hyeong-kyu is a national heavyweight boxer, the CEO of the gym Hunk Boxing, and a two-time Asian Game Gold Medalist. As a member of Team Lee Jang-kun, he was eliminated in Round 2. You can follow him on Instagram @hunk_boxing.
After being eliminated from the series, he’s created boxing content for his YouTube channel. He’s also met up with Hong and other contestants to recreate some of the challenges from the series.
Kim Hye-bin
Another athlete is Kim Hye-bin. She was introduced into Physical 100 Season 2 as a national wushu sando athlete, the first Korean to win a gold medal at the Universiade. She was eliminated after a match against Kim Dam-bi. You can follow her on Instagram @k_hyebinnn.
After leaving Physical 100 Season 2, Kim posts snippets of her daily life on Instagram and meeting with popular YouTube channel Team 1 Illusion.
Kang Min-su
An interesting mix in the national athlete’s group was Kang Min-su. He’s a national sports climber. You can follow him on Instagram @kangminsu_01. On Instagram, he’s kept fans updated since the competition series with videos of him rock climbing and behind the scenes from filming.
It’s hard to keep track of some of the contestants, with Kang as one who didn’t make it far in Physical 100 Season 2.
Park Da-sol
Park Da-sol is a national Judo athlete or judoka joining the cast of Physical 100 Season 2. At the 2018 Asian Games, she won the silver medal in the women’s 52kg event. She won silver at the 2019 Summer Universiade event and took part in the World Judo Championships. At the 2021 Asian-Pacific Judo Championships, she won gold. She was eliminated in Round 3. You can follow her on Instagram @_sol.2222.
She was part of Lee Won-hee’s team during the minecraft match. Sadly, she was eliminated with the rest of her team. But she was given a round of applause for her grit to keep pushing the heavy barrel to the end. Since then, she’s posted on Instagram and her judo tournaments.
Park Yeon-su
Joining Physical 100 Season 2 was Park Yeon-su, a national powerlifter. She wasn’t in the finalists. You can follow her on Instagram @feel_geun. Park is back in the gym training and has posted photos of attending the Netflix event with the rest of the cast.
Park Hee-jun
National athlete Park Hee-jun became known for being the first Korean to win a medal in kata at the Asian Games. The sport is also known as Karateka. You can follow him on Instagram @jjun2_pk. Park was eliminated during the first quest against Lee Won-hee.
Seo Young-woo
Seo Young-woo is a Korean bobsledder. As part of a two-man team, his role is as the brakeman with his teammate as the pilot. He has competed in the 2014 Winter Olympics, IBSF World Championships, and the World Cup. You can follow him on Instagram @seodolph.
After Physical 100, Seo appeared on a popular Korean variety series to compete in ssireum wrestling. He’s also posted reuniting with the cast at a fundraiser. Seo was eliminated after the second challenge in the seriesas part of Jeong’s team.
Kang Young-seo
Physical 100 Season 2 introduced Korena alpine skier Lang Young-seo. In her career, she has competed in the 2014 Winter Olympics. She was eliminated in Round 2. You can follow him on Instagram @youngseo_kang.
Kang was part of Amotti’s team during the maze challenge but was eliminated alongside the others. She was also unable to return through the redemption challenge. After leaving the competition series, she is back skiing in the mountains.
Eom Dae-hyun
Netflix revealed Eom Dae-hyun is a national parkour athlete. He was eliminated in the earlier stages. You can follow him on Instagram @d_hyun.qq. Eom was originally part of Thanos’s team but was also eliminated during the maze match. He was unable to return in the redemption challenge.
On his Instagram, he’s back doing parkour and posted photos on set.
Lee Ye-joo
A new cast member, Lee Ye-joo is a national Kurash athlete who competed in the series to see if her years of training would pay off. She didn’t last to the final stages but its hard to pinpoint exactly when she was eliminated, with guesses being early on.
Lee Jang-kun
Fans better get ready to learn a new sport as Lee Jang-kun is a national kabaddi athlete. The sport originated in India with Lee having started when he was 18. He won bronze with his teammates at the 2013 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. At the 2014 Asian Games, he also received a top-level medal. You can follow him on Instagram @jangkun_lee_kabbadi.
He was originally eliminated during the maze challenge and lost during the redemption match. But was added to the Avengers team. During the barrell relay against his teammates, he lost and was eliminated. Since then, his Instagram shows him having reunited with his castmates for YouTube videos.
Chang Yong-heung
Chang Yong-heung joined the competition to see if his experience as a national rugby player would pay off. He participated in the men’s event during the 2020 Summer Olympics. Additionally, he represented South Korea in the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens held in Cape Town, South Africa. You can follow him on Instagram @yoheu_2.
He surprised many when he withdrew before Round 4 and left Andrew Jin’s team. It was due to him having to compete in rugby at the Asian Games. He also took part in Physical 100’s promo events.
Lee Hyun-jeong
Lee Hyun-jeong was introduced as a physical education teacher and is an athlete hailing from South Korea. In the series, Lee was eliminated in the second challenge as part of Lee Jae-yoon’s team.
Jo Ha-rang
National handball player Jo Ha-rang participated in the 2017 World Women’s Handball Championship. You can follow her on Instagram @27classooo. She was a part of Hwang Choong-won’s team and was eliminated in the maze quest. On her Instagram, she’s posted a new body profile shoot.
Joo Min-kyung
Joo Min-kyung was described as a wrestler by Netflix, but he’s not just any wrestler. He seems to be an arm wrestler. He’s currently one to beat as a champion in the sports and appearing on a few variety series. His Instagram details his career as an arm wrestling athlete who has competed against men from around the world.
He was eliminated in Round 4 and has since been posting about his continuous training in the gym as a professional arm wrestler.
Choi Won-jae
Choi Won-jae joins the Physical 100 Season 2 cast as a national cheerleading team athlete. There isn’t much known about Choi and was rarely seen in the competition series. It’s likely he was eliminated off-camera.
Heo Kyung-hee
Heo Kyung-hee has an impressive backstory. She was once a former model and is now a member of the women’s rugby team. Before rugby, she was a track and field athlete but suffered an injury that derailed her career. She also joined the cast of Season 3 of Korea’s Next Top Model. In 2014, she joined the rugby team and plays soccer. You can follow her on Instagram @hhheeeeeooo.
Heo was one of the contestants who also didn’t make it past the first quest of the competition series, Heo is back to her routine and has played in some soccer matches. She also visited the promotional events for the series.
Hwang Choong-won
Netflix introduced another group of contestants who work day-to-day jobs. Hwang Choong-won may be recognized among some for his appearance on Korean variety shows. He’s described as being a heavy equipment operator. When it comes to TV, he appeared on My Working Vlog or At Work Today. He was eliminated in Round 2. He’s a former soldier and fans can follow him on Instagram @generalhwang.
Hwang was one of the team leaders during the maze match. Having been eliminated, he went on to the redemption challenge but didn’t return. His Instagram shows him spending time with family and taking part in a rowing championship.
Lee Hyun-jin
Lee Hyun-jin was a Physical 100 Season 2 actor who came to see if he could defeat some of the best. In 2022, he starred as the lead in the K-drama Gold Mask and supporting roles in SKY Castle, Dinner Mate, and Inspector Koo. Fans can follow him on Instagram @l_eehyunji_n.
He was one of the contestants eliminated during the first challenge in Physical 100 Season 2.
Ko Hyo-joo
Ko Hyo-joo is a professional Seoul-based longboarder who gained fame on social media for her dances while riding a longboard. She took on the sport as a side hobby as an introvert and collaborated with brands like Converse and GoPro. She was ousted in a one-on-one. Fans can follow her on Instagram @hyo_joo.
She’s posted videos and photos of her longboarding in Korea and posed as a model for a fashion brand.
Hong Da-eun
Hong Da-eun is an arborist. Her profession is caring for trees and other woody plants. Per her Instagram, @hongda_16, she’s skilled in tree climbing and takes up boxing in her free time. She was eliminated in Round 2 with as part of Lee Jang-kun’s team.
The arborist has posted on Instagram of her in the gym boxing and took part in a KBS special helping disabled individuals experience being in the trees.
Power Who Yami
A newcomer to Physical 100 Season 2 was cosplayer Power Who Yami, who is a huge anime fan. You can follow him on Instagram @powerwhoyami. He was eliminated in Round 4.
Since the competition, he has taken to Instagram to show off some of his latest cosplays. Everything from Dragon Ball Z, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Attack on Titan, and Hagaren.
Kim Ki-hyuk
Announcer Kim Ki-hyuk appeared as a contestant in the MBC show New Employee and finished in 6th place. He was an announcer for several sports with MBN in 2012 until becoming a broadcaster in 2020. He’s now associated with Studio LuluLala.
Kim isn’t seen much in the competition series, but is speculated to have been eliminated early on.
Kim Amugae
Kim Amugae is a known YouTuber and a professional fighter. On Youtube, a variety show included Kim in the octagon as a fighter. He’s also an avid gym goer with fans able to follow him on Instagram @amugae_kim_.
In the series, he was eliminated during the relay challenge and didn’t make it through the redemption challenge. He’s posted photos with his family and their trip to Jeju Island.
Ahn Sung-hwan
Ahn Sung-hwan is the CEO of a Food Service Company and has quite the following on Instagram. He owns a few food establishments like restaurants and has appeared on various variety shows as an entrepreneur. He’s also an avid gym goer who prides himself in his physique.
He was eliminated early on in the competition and has since celebrated his 100K YouTube followers. His Instagram also has photos of his ad work and riding a horse.
Sim Sung-eon
Netflix introduces Sim Sung-eon as a nurse wanting to see if he has what it takes to compete in Physical 100 Season 2. His Instagram has thousands of followers and has tidbits about his daily life. He also tags himself as a model. He didn’t make it to the finals. He hasn’t posted much since his time on Physical 100.
Son Yeong-seok
Every type of person got involved in season 2 of the competition series, including office worker Son Yeong-seok. You can follow him on Instagram @sssonstar__. His Instagram has photos of his time in the series and his one-on-one challenge.
He was eliminated in the first challenge against Kim Amugae and put up a good fight against the professional fighter.
Wi Sung-oh
Wi Sung-oh is a personal trainer who can lift impressive weights in the gym. He was eliminated in Round 3, as a member of Team Kim Dong-hyun. You can follow him on Instagram @legminator. Wi went pretty far in the series having made it to the minecraft challenge. But he didn’t make it through the redemption challenge.
He’s also attended the press events with the cast and is back in the gym training.
Yoon Han-jin
Yoon Han-jin is a college student specializing in Special Physical Education. Per his Instagram, @hanjin0624, he also tags himself as an actor and on his YouTube channel where he shares mukbangs, his workout routine, and more. He hasn’t posted about the series but has kept people updated on his fitness routine.
His Instagram doesn’t reveal when he was eliminated, but based on the teams for challenge 2, he was eliminated in the first round.
Jang Yoon-sung
Jang Yoon-sung has been on a few Korean variety shows and a dating series. Besides being a personal trainer and avid gym goer, he’s also the CEO of Bears Coffee which makes unique cookies. Fans can follow him on Instagram @yoonsung.j.
Yoon-sung was also eliminated early on in the first challenge and went back to his daily life running his cafe business. He’s also joined ManHunt International representing South Korea.
Jeon Hee-jeong
Joining the cast of Physical 100 Season was stunt performer Jeon Hee-jeong. She’d appeared in a few K-dramas and you can follow her on Instagram @hit.jjeong. She didn’t get through to the final stages.
K-drama fans may spot her as she went back to work and appeared in Netflix’s Parasyte: The Grey.
Jo Han
Sports and Leisure college student Jo Han battled against some of the best to see if he could make it far in the competition series. Per his Instagram, he also tags himself as an actor and model.
He was eliminated in the one-on-one challenge. After the series, he also attended press events with the cast and has done some modeling work for some skincare brands.
Ju Sung-min
It’s a good thing the cast of Physical 100 Season 2 had a doctor in the house with Ju Sung-min. Per his Instagram, he’s also a bodybuilder and ICN/INBA Pro. He didn’t make it through to the finals. He’s gone back to the gym to train as a bodybuilder.
Juyang
Netflix introduced Juyang as the CEO of an apparel company. She has a big following on her Instagram as a fitness model and bikini model. Alongside her NABBA credentials, she’s also an ICN Pro. She was eliminated in a one-on-one we didn’t get to watch.
She’s back to being a social media influencer, endorsing healthcare brands and share her fitness lifestyle.
Kim Hee-hyun
A first-timer for Physical 100 is Ballerino Kim Hee-hyun. Many know him for his career and his marriage to singer Lim Jeong-hee. He was eliminated in a match against Chang Yong-heung. You can follow him on Instagram @ballet_hh.
Kim was eliminated during the one-on-one challenge and went on to join the cast at Netflix’s press event. He also starred in a new dance production and fundraiser with the contestants.
Kim Bong-yun
Kim Bong-yun was introduced by Netflix as a carpenter. He was eliminated before the finals. Kim is one of the contestants that didn’t get much screen time, and fans are unsure when he was eliminated. But it’s clear he didn’t make it to the finals.
Kang Ji-jun
Kang Ji-jun is a jige porter. A jige is an old-fashioned Korean tool used to carry large quantities of heavy materials. He didn’t make it to the finals.
Park Ha-yun
Part of the 100 contestants joining the cast of Physical 100 Season 2 is Park Ha-yun. Known as part of the Superstar Athletes group, Park is a handball player. You can follow her on Instagram @hayan_0611.
Park was a fan favorite as one of the few women who went far in the competition. Alongside some of the contestants, she became one of the spokespeople for Nike Korea. She also did a photo shoot for W Korea.
Chong Te-se
Chong Te-se is also known as Chong Tese and is well-known for his professional career as a soccer player. He was originally born in Japan to a South Korean father and a North Korean mother. Due to his North Korean status, he chose to play as a forward for the North Korean team. He was eliminated in Round 2. Fans can follow him on Instagram @chong_tese.
As part of Thanos’s team, Chong went as far as the relay challenge. His Instagram shows him back in the gym and appearing on a variety show.
Kim Ji-eun
Kim Ji-eun is a track and field star hoping to prove her skillset in the competition series. According to World Athletics, Kim is an Asian Championships Bronze medallist and two-time national champion. She was eliminated when Team Lee Jae-yoon won in Round 2. According to her Instagram, @_6.16_, she also sponsors New Balance.
Hwang Chan-seob
Ssireum athlete Hwang Chan-seob takes on the series to see if he has what it takes. The sport is well-known in Korea and involves two opponents wrestling each other while holding onto a cloth wrapped around their waist and legs.
He took 3rd place in the 2019 Changnyeong Jangsa Ssireum Competition and won the 2019 Jeungpyeong Ginseng Bae National Jangsa Ssireum Contest. You can follow him on Instagram @chan_seob2. When it comes to Physical 100 Season 2, he hasn’t posted about the series.
Kim Dam-bi
Kim Dam-bi is a weightlifter and YouTuber. According to a YouTube video, she can lift 153 kilograms, over 300 pounds. Fans can follow her on Instagram @0728_db. In Round 2, she was eliminated as part of Thanos’s team and didn’t win the redemption challenge. She also joined the contestants in a Powerade marathon.
Go Min-jung
Professional cross-fitter Go Min-jung joins the ranks to see if her muscles are more for show. She has an impressive following on Instagram where she shares an inside look into her life from cardio, weightlifting, and the sport of cross-fitting. She was eliminated in Round 2 by Team Hong Beom-seok and is back in the Crossfit gym.
Kim Yeong-chan
Kim Yeong-chan is a Taekkyon athlete — a traditional Korean martial art that uses fluid and dynamic footwork. He was a part of Lee Won-hee’s team and didn’t make it past the second challenge.
Ryu Si-hyun
Some may not be familiar with Ryu Si-hyun as he’s a streetlifting athlete. Per his Instagram, he tags himself as “Street Lifting & Street Work Out” and has won 1st place in Muscle Ups two times. A street athlete is also categorized as calisthenics that take place outdoors. After the series, he went back to the gym showing himself taking on 210kg squats.
Amber Yang
Amber Yang is another professional cross-fitter joining the competition series. Her Instagram reveals she is a Level 2 coach and was a 2021 CrossFit Semi-Finals Individual and part of the 2022 Semi-Finals team. Amber has taken part in the 2024 Far East Throwdown Crossfit Games after Physical 100 Season 2.
Lee Jun-ha
A welcome mix to the roster was American football athlete Lee Jun-ha. He didn’t make it to the final rounds, however as he was eliminated in the second challenge as part of Hwang Chong-won’s team.
Im Su-jeong
Im Su-jeong is another Ssireum athlete joining the Physical 100 Season 2 cast. Her resistance and strength in the Korean wrestling sport might be an advantage. You can follow her on Instagram @imsu1985. She was eliminated early and has posted photos of the Netflix press event and photos with cherry blossom trees.
Kim Min-ho
Kim Min-ho is a professional wrestler with the WWA. According to Korea JoongAng Daily, Kim fell in love with the spot after watching Hulk Hogan and ventured to Korea to the WWA. He started officially training when he was 20 years old. Kim is a WWA Korea heavyweight title holder. You can follow him on Instagram @wwakmh.
He hasn’t posted much since the series, but has met with Team 1 Illusion.
Jang Jun-hyuk
Jang Jun-hyuk is a Korean wrestler who wanted to try and prove his athletic abilities in Physical 100 Season 2. He was the youngest contestant in season 2 at 18 and came second place in Round 2.5. He was a favorite during the redemption challenge having held his own against the others.
Choi Soo-in
Joining the Physical 100 Season 2 cast is Brazilian jiu-jitsu athlete Choi Soo-in. In a YouTube video, she started the sport on a whim and began to train. She recently won the national athletic competition and became a South Korean representative. You can follow her on Instagram @choisooin.official.
Choi has taken part in jiu-jitsu tournaments since leaving the series, and has taught at a seminar.
Hong Hyeon-jun
Hong Hyeon-jun is a golf long-drive athlete. Per his Instagram, he’s a KPGA PRO, Long driver player, and WLD world long drive player. He had the longest drive in 2021 with 471 yards. His Instagram also shows him as an avid gold player. He’s posted photos back on the golf field after the series.
Ha Moo-kyoung
Handball player Ha Moo-kyoung also joins the competition series. Will he have what it takes to take on some of the best athletes? You can follow him on Instagram @hkyoung120. Ha went as far as the second challenge before elimination and didn’t make it past the redemption challenge. He’s back to playing tournaments as a handball player.
Lee Jae-yoon
Physical 100 Season 2 introduces contestants known as “athletic celebrities” with Lee Jae-yoon joining the cast. He’s a Korean-Canadian actor known for his roles in Heartless City and the popular romance K-drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo. Besides being an actor, he’s an avid fitness enthusiast and a brown belt in jiujitsu. He was eliminated in Round 4. You can follow him on Instagram @goomapapa.
Lee went far as one of the team captains until the last team quest before the finale. He lost to his teammates and was eliminated. His Instagram has him back to training jiujitsu and meeting up with the cast.
Kang So-yeon
A surprise contestant was Single’s Inferno star Kang So-yeon. She starred as one of the female contestants in the first season of the Netflix dating series and was a fan favorite. She’s a fitness enthusiast and CEO of HitFit Boxing and is a K-Pop artist who was once part of the co-ed group WE. She was eliminated in an untelevised match. Kang is back to being a social media influencer and even attended the Challengers premiere in London.
Amotti
Amotti joined the cast of Physical 100 Season 2 thanks to his experience as a crossfitter. He’s popular among the cast for his fitness YouTube channel, as well as his cardio and strength abilities. You can follow him on Instagram @amottivation. He went on to win the entire competition.
After his win, Amotti became quite the celebrity appearing as a guest on other contestants’ YouTube channels. He also did a photo shoot with Harper’s Bazaar.
Knucks
Knucks is also known under the name Monster Mijo. He’s known for being a Krump dancer and member of Prime Kingz Crew. He was eliminated off-screen in a one-on-one match. You can follow him on Instagram @monster.mijo. His Instagram reveals he has posted dance videos and even did a video with Thanos.
Gwon Ga-young
Gwon Ga-young joined as a fitness model. In her career, she competed in the 2023 Fitness Korea bikini and the 2023 NPC Natural Bikini. She’s also a fitness trainer. You can follow her on Instagram @sweet.b65. She’s posted body profile photoshoots, gave a workout seminar, and met with the cast to do some charity work.
Lee Jang-jun
Lee Jang-jun, also known by his stage name Jang Jun, is a member of Golden Child. He’s a rapper and singer who joined the K-pop group through the series 2017 Woollim Pick. The idol got eliminated in the first challenge and didn’t manage to go any further in the series.
Park Kwang-jae
Many K-drama fans will recognize Park Kwang-jae for his supporting and guest roles in popular K-dramas. He played the guest role as a cleaner in A Shop for Killers. His credits include Kill Boksoon, Vigilante, Moving, Song of Bandits, Island, Revenge of Others, and more. Park was a former basketball player before becoming an actor. Sadly, we didn’t get to see the match where he was eliminated, as it happened off-screen.

Lee Kyu-ho
Lee Kyu-ho is a known actor and TV personality. He’s played supporting roles in hit K-dramas like Money Heist: Korea, My Lovely Liar, The Uncanny Counter, Island and more. He was eliminated in a one-on-one against Amotti. You can follow him on Instagram @actor_leekyuho. He hasn’t posted much since the competition.
GPT
GPT is a Korean fitness YouTuber who wanted to make his mark and put his muscles to the test on Physical 100 Season 2. You can follow him on Instagram @tjrdbs91 and posts snippets of his daily life. GPT didn’t make it past the first challenge as was eliminated.
Noh Sung-yul
Noh Sung-yul is known as a martial arts tricker known for his videos on YouTube and is part of TEAM1ILLUSION. In a YouTube blog, he reveals he runs an academy called Martial Arts Tricking & Acrobatic Team Illusion in Gangnam and Ilsan; they use martial arts and acrobats to take on physical challenges. You can follow him on Instagram @team1llusion and has been consistently posting new videos with his team.
Lee Ho-yeon
Lee Ho-yeon is a fashion model joining the competition series. He has appeared in a few on-screen roles in K-dramas, too. He was eliminated in Round 3. You can follow him on Instagram @lihogood.
He went far having gotten to the minecraft relay challenge but was later eliminated. His social media show him running, in the gym, and joining the cast for the Powerade marathon.
Justin Harvey
Justin Harvey is one of the few non-Korean contestants joining the cast of Physical 100 Season 2. He’s an actor who debuted in The Witch: Part 2 The Other One. He’s South African and you can follow him on Instagram @justin.irrelevance. He didn’t make it to the finals but went as far as the squats challenge.
Surprisingly, his social media is now private.
Jeon Jong-hyeok
Jeon Jong-hyeok is a soccer player, in the position of goalkeeper. But Netflix tagged him as a singer for the competition series. He didn’t make it to the final rounds.
Jung Dae-jin
Jung Dae-jin is a sports model and bodybuilder. He’s also nicknamed Superbody Jin for his impressive physique. You can follow him on YouTube where he shares his time in the gym. At NABBA Korea, he placed pro three times. You can follow him on Instagram @superbody__jin.
He was a part of Kim’s team and later eliminated after the relay challenge. He’s steadily posted on social media from bodybuilding competitions, endorsement deals, and celebrating his anniversary.
Kang Seung-min
Kang Seung-min joins the Netflix competition series as a YouTuber and has a Ph.D in Engineering. His impressive size was an advantage and hindrance in the challenges. You can follow him on Instagram @workout_ksm. Fans can see his impressive work deadlifting 300kg.
Kim Woo-joo
Kim Woo-joo is a Korean freelance model. Per his Instagram, @k_sw_, he’s done various campaigns and boxes in his free time. He is another competitor who didn’t make it to the last leg of the show. His Instagram shows him back at work as a model for brands and attending the Louis Vuitton show.
Emmanuel
Shaibu Emmanuel is a fitness model and bodybuilder. He’s a Nigerian currently working out of South Korea. He was eliminated in his one-on-one match against Kim Dong-hyun. You can follow him on Instagram @_charles_emmy_. Emmanuel is back to his bodybuilding work in the gym and worked with Team 1 Illusion.
No Seung-hyuk
No Seung-hyuk is a contemporary dance artist and freelance model. His Instagram, @sh_nn, shows his advertisement work, model work, and travel. Unfortunately for him, he didn’t make it to the finals. But his Instagram shows him working as a model attending shows for Crocs, Coach, and OffRoad.
