The studio is based near London in Leavesden, UK and is being used as the primary film studio for the series, which is home to some enormous and key sets.
In the video, viewers get a closer look at the substantially large sets used. They can be seen split into an array of different sections that are used to depict various sites of King’s Landing.
This includes the Red Keep, which can be seen in the clip with its famous red walls and the iconic Weirwood tree with its white bark and blood-red leaves.
Despite the production for Game of Thrones being based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, House of the Dragon’s headquarters has been at the Leavesden studio in England, since the first season. Further filming locations, much like on GoT, have also been used for both seasons, including Croatia, Portugal and Spain.
