Daryl Dixon is a beloved character among The Walking Dead fans. While he did not originate from the comics, fans still fell in love with his gritty personality, heart of gold, and relationship with Rick Grimes.
However, Daryl has now taken his own path, venturing out into the larger world. For season 2, expect much of the same and the return of another fan-favorite character.

The series will release one episode each week and consist of six episodes, each lasting 40 minutes to an hour.

The Walking Dead fans, you’re in luck! Season 2 of the Daryl Dixon spin-off will bring back another longtime character, one who is close to Daryl and the other major players in the Walking Dead universe.
That’s right, folks, Carol is set to return to the series as a main character. While her presence was hinted at throughout the first season, Melissa McBride returned in the final episode, much to the enjoyment of fans across the world.

As well as McBride’s return, Norman Reedus will of course be back as the titular hero, as well as the following confirmed cast members:

Plot details for Daryl Dixon season 2
Of course, the main plot point that many fans are wondering about is how Carol will reunite with Daryl and what their reunion will look like as the show continues.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, series showrunner David Zabel spilled the beans on what fans can expect from Carol’s return in the upcoming season.
“She felt compelled to go out looking for Daryl, which we will learn more about as we get deeper into the story,” Zabel began. “The presumption was made that he was coming back home, and then he never came back home, so we can read into that.”
The showrunner added that, “So now she’s worried about him, and the radio call [in episode five] gave her a little bit of a clue as to how to maybe track him down. There’s also another clue – this moment in the radio call where she talks about something or someone having come back.
“The impression [the audience] and Daryl gets is that something’s a little off for her. That’s going to function into the story for Carol in season two… she has a great dual track that we’re setting her off on and we’ve shot some of that already, and it’s going to be fantastic when it’s all together.”
