There’s something very exciting coming to Netflix this month, as the new movie from Jeremy Saulnier, Rebel Ridge, arrives on the platform.

There’s also a load of new true crime and documentaries dropping on Netflix, as usual. The platform is the kind of that kind of content, with Will & Harper potentially being a highlight.

What’s on Disney Plus in September 2024?

There are two movies coming to Disney this month, with the highlight being the documentary Fly.

It’s all about a group of BASE jumpers, and how the extreme sport affects their life, for better or worse. The doc was playing in IMAX at theaters recently, but will soon be available to watch at home.

Oddly, there’s only one new movie coming to Prime Video this month: The American Society of Magical Negroes, on September 3.

It seems Prime is stocking up on older content this month rather than releasing any originals. Still, the platform is stacked with movies and TV shows from all kinds of genres, so they can afford a quieter month.

Nothing new on Peacock

Unfortunately, Peacock isn’t serving up any new movies this month, but it is stocking up on loads of great older films. Our highlight would be John Carpenter’s The Thing (which achieves the feat of being one of the best sci-fi movies and the best horror movies of all time).

New on Hulu in September

Hulu is gearing up for spooky season a little early by dropping a brilliant zombie movie, Handling the Undead this month. Check out our review for more on that one.

There’s also Boy Kills World, an action flick starring Bill Skarsgard, and the new comedy movie, Babes, which’ll make for a chilled weekend watch.

That one better be good, after the ludicrous amount of money Apple spent paying its lead actors. It’s also the only new movie on Apple TV+ this month, so you have to like it.
