All Disney+ upcoming releases for September 2024 – New TV shows and movies revealed

Looking for something to watch and want to get the most out of your subscription? Here are all the new TV shows and movies dropping on the platform this month, plus a look at the Disney+ upcoming releases for the rest of 2024.

While there are many to choose from, it says a lot that Disney+ is arguably the best streaming service out there right now.

The House of Mouse always has new movies in the pipeline, and once those releases are done in theaters, they now have their own dedicated platform to call home.

Disney is more than just the producer of the best animated movies these days, though. With all kinds of content dropping on the streaming service it can be hard to keep up. So, what’s new on Disney+ this month, and what upcoming releases are heading there in the future?

The best Disney+ releases this month

There’s only one thing we’re interested in this month: Agatha All Along.

It’s a much quieter year for the MCU, but we’ve been looking forward to the upcoming Marvel TV show ever since the titular witch showed up in WandaVision.

Agatha All Along premieres on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, with two episodes.

New TV shows in September

Agatha is the main attraction this month, but there’s also a new show called Ayla & the Mirrors to look forward to.

New movies in September

Adrenaline junkies will love the big movie heading to Disney+ this month, as the documentary Fly arrives on the platform.

It’s the story of folk who jump off cliffs and fly through canyons. Call them crazy, but they’re living their best life, clearly.

Here are all the movies coming to Disney+ this month:

  • Big City Greens the Movie: Spacecation (Sing-Along Version) – September 8
  • Fly – Wednesday September 25

Disney+ upcoming releases for the rest of 2024

Looking further ahead, we’re waiting for the likes of Deadpool 3 and Inside Out 2 to land on Disney’s service so we can rewatch them at home.

We don’t know when the Merc with a Mouth will show up on Disney+ and to be honest, we’ll need the Deadpool & Wolverine box office to slow down before Marvel decides to pull it from theaters.

We’re also keeping an eye out for Inside Out 2 on Disney+, which we thought would be dropping in September at some point. However, it’s also done wonders at the box office, so we may have to wait until next month now.

What’s good on Disney+ for kids?

Disney Plus obviously has all the Disney and Pixar movies to watch at any time, but when it comes to new content this month, kids are going to love the new LEGO content like Pixar BrickToons.

The Pixar episodes drop on September 4. There’s also the LEGO Star Wars mini episodes to watch out for a week later.
