TikTok star Teresa Smith, known as Queenzziel0cthevoice on the social media app, has passed away at the age of 48 after a battle with ovarian cancer.
Teresa Smith (Queenzziel0cthevoice) was best known for her cover of Billie Eilish’s ‘What Was I Made For’ where she sang “although enjoyment,” as well as her catchphrase “Be who you are for your pride.”
The internet icon had amassed over 730,000 followers on TikTok, and she would often go viral duetting karaoke covers of popular songs. Beyond her singing talent, Teresa was also loved for her positive messages and support for the LGBTQ+ community.
On February 15, her daughter Yolundria Rooks sadly revealed that she had died at the age of 48. She shared the news on a GoFundMe page, saying: “It is with a heavy heart to announce that my mother The Icon, The Diva, Miss Teresa Smith also known as ‘Queezielocthevoice’ has suddenly passed away.”
According to TMZ, Teresa died following a battle with ovarian cancer, which had spread from her ovaries to her lungs. She passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones.

The TikTok star’s family is now asking for donations to cover travel expenses and funeral costs for her to be buried in Georgia with her son, Josiah Smith, who passed away at the tender age of 15.
Yolundria also requested prayers for her family during this difficult time. She added: “As I have to prepare and get ready to send my Queen home, I just want to thank all those who loved my mom and all of her followers for supporting her. Love you all God Bless!”
Many fans left heartwarming comments on Teresa’s most recent video after the news of her death was announced. “Rest in peace and although enjoyment up in heaven,” one user wrote.
“Thank you so much for everything queenzzielocthevoice I always admired you, rest in peace,” another commented. “Rest in peace beautiful angel thank you for all the laughs,” a third shared.
