Starfield players discuss the in-game quests, with many feeling like they’re way too easy in this space odyssey.

Bethesda’s latest title, Starfield, has given players plenty to chew on since its arrival. Players have fallen in love with the in-game systems, such as outpost and shipbuilding, and improvements to the title’s physics engine, which has led to wild experimentation.

However, for all the good at its core, there’s been much room for improvement. Exploration has left some players burned, and fans have pleaded for stability updates since launch.

Much like a typical Bethesda game, Starfield is full of quests to partake in, as you explore the massive experience. Head to any location, and expect to encounter a quest or a side quest to participate in for rewards.

It seems not all fans are satisfied with the quest structure. Shared to the game’s Subreddit, one fan felt the difficulty of some quests are way too easy. “I’m not sure if this is something that just Starfield does, or if I’ve just not noticed it in past BSG games, but I feel like the quests are so easy to complete with “optional” parts to it that literally just make it seem like it was made for a child to complete it.”

The player shared one specific encounter they remembered early on. The optional part of the quest conveniently worked out, no extra bells or whistles needed. This sparked the community to share their opinion with similar sentiments.

To avoid spoilers for those who haven’t played, many players shared experiences that made them laugh due to their simplicity. One player perfectly summarized the experience “NPCs will paint elaborate pictures of what could happen, but the quest design refuses to acknowledge anything other than the most simple solution.” Therefore, the quests just unfold and are resolved easily.
