Kylian Mbappe’s future has been the talk of the football world since news emerged on Thursday that the Frenchman will leave PSG at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old has won every domestic trophy available to him since joining the French club from Monaco in 2017 and he will hope his next move brings about success in the Champions League.

Mbappe has never won the European Cup but the team he looks most likely to join is the best in the business when it comes to that competition.

With 14 titles, Real Madrid have won it more than any other team and they already have the makings of another great team, even without Mbappe and another star player they are being linked with.

Bayern Munich’s left-back Alphonso Davies is reportedly set to join Madrid too, with reports in Spain suggesting personal terms have been agreed between the Spanish club and Davies.

Davies is out of contract at Bayern next year and the German champions could be tempted to offload him this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer at the end of next season.

Madrid’s starting XI is already impressive enough but the prospective additions of Mbappe and Davies would make Carlo Ancelotti’s team frightening.

Thibaut Courtois will be back from his ACL injury next season, and in front of him would be Dani Carvajal, Toni Ruediger, David Alaba, with Davies rounding off the back four at left-back.

Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham make up the midfield, while one would assume Mbappe would take up a central role, with Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo on either flank.
