Nintendo leaker Sabi has confirmed that yet another popular choice for Super Smash Bros Ultimate’s fighter pass DLC won’t be making it into the game anytime soon.

Fans of Super Smash Bros Ultimate have been waiting for the announcement surrounding the fifth Fighter of the Fighter’s Pass DLC for quite some time.

Ever since Terry Bogard was announced as the fourth, fans and leakers have been kicking things into overdrive with the respective suggestions. Leakers have dug through files and what information they have to try and confirm the next addition, but as of now, they’ve only been able to confirm who won’t be making into the game.

NintendoThe fifth member of the Fighter’s Pass is still yet to be revealed.

One such leaker is Sabi, who has previously debunked the idea of Lloyd Irving from J-RPG Tales of Symphonia being the next Fighter despite hopes from fans and teases from the character’s voice actor.

Now though, the leaker has confirmed that another popular choice – Sora from Kingdom Hearts – won’t be added as a part of the fifth installment of the Fighter’s Pass DLC.

“Wouldn’t bet on Sora now,” they tweeted on December 6. “Finally finished asking some people.” In the same post, the leaker also noted that hopes of seeing Halo’s Master Chief would also be dashed following recent ‘leaked’ audio.

Unfortunately for fans, Sora joins a long list of ‘deconfirms’ that grows by the day. We already know that the fifth fighter won’t be from a number of Bandai Namco, Ubisoft, or Capcom titles.

Names like Desmond Miles from Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher, Dante from Devil May Cry, and Rayman have also been bandied about but it apparently won’t be any of them either.

Of course, there are still plenty of possibilities for Nintendo and they could very well throw in a curveball that leakers don’t get wind of. Until then, though, it remains to be seen as to where they go with the fifth DLC fighter.
