The first Rocket League Championship Series Season of 2020 is well underway and we now have a solid date for when the Finals are.
At the time of writing the Season 9 regular season is about halfway complete, with another month or so until Regional Finals before the Championship.
Twelve total teams will qualify for the Season 9 Finals – four from North America, four from Europe, two from South America, and two from Oceania.
The RLCS Season 9 Finals will take place from April 24 to 26 at the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas, Texas and will be streamed live on Twitch and YouTube.
Things kick off with the Group Stage, which will take place April 24-25. The Group Stage will consist of a double-elimination bracket of 12 teams split into two groups of six facing off in best of five matches.

The top three teams from each group, six teams total, will advance to the playoffs on April 26 in a best of seven, single-elimination bracket.
RLCS haven’t released a prize pool for the finals yet, but Season 8 had a payout of $529,500, with the first-place team taking home a cool $200,000, so we very well could see a similar purse for Season 9.
As we mentioned earlier, teams are still in the thick of regular season play at the time of writing, so we won’t know exactly which teams will qualify for the Finals until after Regional Finals take place.
Dexerto will update with qualifying teams, streams, prize pool information and more details when they become available as we get closer to the RLCS Season 9 Finals.
