Rockstar Games have been having real difficulties with Read Dead Redemption 2 updates lately, with one breaking the game completely to the point where it needed a reset. Now, another one has been released and we’ve got the patch notes.
Everybody that plays Red Dead Online will have their own wish list. Features they would like to see changed, tweaked, or added. Whatever may be the case, Red Dead trailblazers are just hoping the game stays stable enough for the online experience to avoid going offline again.
While the July DLC update covered not only a massive array of new content and notable bug fixes, this time around the Rockstar devs released a more focused patch deadline with general stability and security fixes.
This patch is clocking in around 3.3 GB but could vary on the different platforms it’s coming to, including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
One of the stranger occurrences in the wild west was the ability to buy the Horned Variant Bow with Gold despite people already owning the item. Thankfully this should be patched, limiting the amount of them you’ll see while playing Online.
For PC players, two big issues have been addressed in this patch that will be a godsend for players affected by the bugs.

There’s been a constant issue in Red Dead Online in which people were actually unable to log into either the Single Player mode or the Multiplayer component after the game crashed on them.
Hopefully this will at least give people a better avenue to recover from a crash, instead of just being locked out of the game.
Moreover, Rockstar has resolved the PC bug that made the time of day randomly change in a flash. This threw off a ton of players, and the fix should be the end of it, though the devs are bound to keep an eye on the issue.
