The Traitors UK Series 1 is an intense, psychologically thrilling gameshow with eliminations each week. Here are all the players who did not make it to the end.
The reality show returned on BBC One and iPlayer with 22 new contestants. So far, fans have reacted very positively to the season premiere.
The Traitors UK, with host Claudia Winkleman, centers around players placed in a castle in the Scottish Highlands for a game of wits and betrayal. They are divided into two groups: The ‘faithful’ and ‘traitors,’ both aiming to eliminate the other and win up to £120,000.
Throughout the show, players either get ‘murdered’ by the Traitors or ‘banished’ by a Faithful. The show is expected to have 12 episodes, but so far, several contestants have already been exiled from the castle.
Aubrey
The first person to be ‘murdered’ off the show was the retired shop owner and cat lover, Aubrey. Fans were devastated seeing Aubrey leave the show first. They felt that they were robbed of an interesting character for the game show.
Sonja
Sonja became the second person to leave the show, while being the first one to be banished by vote. In the game, her role was of a Faithful, but she failed to convince the other players of that and their mistrust cost her the banishment.
Fans expressed that it was heartbreaking to see another elder player leave the show. One commented on Reddit: “My favorite contestant who brought so much chaotic energy from start to finish, lol.”
Kyra
Kyra, an apprentice economist from Kent, was the youngest member of the cast. She was a Faithful, but got murdered by a Traitor during episode 3.
A fan wrote on Reddit: “Was genuinely surprised Kyra got murdered, as I thought she was a cert to get banished before long.”
Brian
Brian, a Glasgow photographer, was banished after an intense round-table discussion during episode 4. Players were about to oust a Traitor, but somehow, Brian came under their radar last minute.
Fans on Reddit joked about it, and one said:
“Roundtable: Turns on Traitor.
Brian: But never mind that, what about me?”
Ash
The 45-year-old events coordinator joined the show looking for an adventure and a property ladder. But her time on screen was cut short as she got banished during episode 4. She was the Traitor that Brian accidentally protected with his elimination.
Meg
The talented illustrator from Hertfordshire was murdered in episode 5. Meg, the second youngest among the cast, turned out to be a Faithful.
Jonny
Jonny was another Faithful who got banished from the castle. The 31-year-old ex-military man failed to convince other players of his role and was banished during episode 5.
Fans on Reddit expressed their surprise and one wrote: “The way they ALL just turned on Jonny… whew.”

Tracey
Tracey’s interview with the BBC producers got the most attention from the audience as she described her occupation as a Clairvoyant. However, her abilities might be in question now because she was murdered by a Traitor during episode 6. After her elimination, Tracey was revealed as a Faithful.
Anthony
The 45-year-old chess coach from Birmingham was banished after a Round table talk during episode 6. After his elimination, it was revealed that Anthony was a Faithful.

The 63-year-old Retired Teacher, Diane Carson, had been an unexpected main character of Series 2. Diane and Ross’ relationship plot twist had viewers jumping out of their seats. Unfortunately, Diane’s time on the show was cut short as she was ‘murdered’ off the show by the traitors in episode 7. Her murder was dramatic as it happened in plain sight, by ‘The Poisoned Chalice’.

Miles, the 36-year-old Veterinary nurse, started his journey on the reality show as a Faithful. However, after Traitor Ash was banished from the castle, Miles automatically got her role. Paul Gorton
The fan-favorite contestant this season, Paul, was chosen to be the Traitor from episode 1. He showed off his quick wit when he became the first one to suspect that Diane had a son among the cast members.

Ross
Ross Carson left the show in episode 10 after serving us only one episode as a Traitor. Viewers were a bit disappointed with his banishment because they wanted Diane’s son to do a ‘revenge arc’ for her. Zack, the player responsible for the banishment, jokingly apologized to viewers for ruining Diane and Ross’s revenge arc.
Zack
After Ross’s banishment, the Traitors chose to murder Zack Davies as revenge. The Parliamentary affairs advisor left the show in episode 11.
