Here is everything we know about a potential Love Is Blind: Celebrity Edition that could be heading to Netflix, and who sparked the idea.

The Love Is Blind franchise is expanding rapidly, with spin-offs of the popular US show being announced left and right.

From Sweden to Argentina to now even a UAE version, it’s going to be hard to find a time of year when at least one LIB series isn’t premiering.

That being said, there are still a ton of ideas that Netflix could pursue, including an LGBTQ+ version or even a Golden Bachelor-style series when the pods are only going to have men and women who are over 60.

Another concept would be a celebrity edition, where single superstars would enter the experiment and hopefully come out with a wedding ring.

This idea isn’t just a thought in our heads, it’s already been pitched to the streaming service by an A-list celeb.

Love Is Blind: Celebrity Edition has been pitched by a star

On January 25, Cheryl Burke, former star of Dancing With The Stars revealed on a podcast that she has pitched the idea of Love Is Blind: Celebrity Edition.

“I mean, I recently gave a pitch to the president of Netflix and said, ‘Listen, you have to do it.’ And he asks, “How would we do that?” And I said, “Well, you have to have rules.” “You’ll be disqualified if, for example, you announce what you do for a living,” she said during the episode.

Cheryl is single, so it’s assumed that if it gets greenlit she would want to take part.

As of now, there haven’t been any updates from Cheryl or Netflix on whether her pitch is actually going to see the light of day. But, at least she got the idea into the minds of the streaming service and the LIB fanbase.
