While it may feel a little early to start preparing for the holiday season, the tail end of 2024 is approaching fast. If you’re hoping to get your hands on some festive goodies and rare cards for the Pokemon TCG collectors in your life, now’s the perfect time to sort it.
The Pokemon Company releases a Holiday Calendar each year, packed to the brim with Pokemon cards, TCG accessories, and cute trinkets. The 2024 iteration has just been announced and it’s already available for pre-order, so we’ve gathered the best places to pick it up here in this article.

The Pokemon TCG Holiday Calendar releases this year on August 23, 2024, which is the same month that Shrouded Fable is set to hit the market. It’s bound to be a busy month for collectors, so picking up a pre-order or two is ideal if you’re determined to get specific items for your collection.
There aren’t currently many retailers with Holiday Calendar pre-orders available, but this is likely to change as we get closer to the release date – make sure to check back here for further updates.

If you’ve never picked up a Holiday Calendar before, each day of December has a tiny door with a Pokemon-related treat inside. Some doors are hiding full Booster Packs, some are hiding Fun Packs (3-card Booster Packs), and others are hiding goodies like the Chien-Pao keychain above.
Specifically, the product listing notes that the Holiday Calendar includes 8 stamped foil promos, 5 Booster Packs, 7 Fun Packs, 2 coins, 2 sticker sheets, and a sidekick dangler keychain. On top of this, you also get a code card for Pokemon TCG Live when picking up this product.
