Regidrago is one of the Legendary Titans that you can encounter in Pokemon Go‘s 5-Star Raids, but what are the best movesets to teach it for the different types of battles in the game?
After making its debut in Sword & Shield‘s Crown Tundra DLC expansion on the Nintendo Switch, Regidrago made it to Pokemon Go back in 2024 and now it’s returning once again to debut its Shiny variation during the Max Out Finale event.
If you’ve already managed to get one – or are planning to – you’ll probably be wondering what the best movesets for PvP and Raids are, so we’ve explained them below.
Best moveset for PvP
One of the best movesets you can teach Regidrago for PvP Battles in Pokemon Go is Bite as a Fast Move with Outrage as a Charged Move.
Unfortunately, you’re stuck with Bite as it’s the only Fast Move you can teach Regidrago. When it comes to Charged Moves, it’s worth opting for Outrage as it is a powerful nuke that benefits from the STAB damage and the Normal-type Hyper Beam for the extra coverage if you can afford a secondary Charged Move.
We have to say, though, it doesn’t really feel accurate to call this a ‘best’ moveset as it won’t serve you very well in either PvP Battles or Raids. But as it currently stands, it’s the best of a bad situation.

Best moveset for Raids
Regidrago’s best moveset for Pokemon Go’s Raid battles consists of Bite as a Fast Move and Breaking Swipe as a Charged Move, with 13.77 damage per second and 272.37 total damage output.
As the only Fast Move Regidrago has, you’re forced to go with Bite. Even though it doesn’t benefit from STAB, it’s still a decent, cheap, and fast attack.
For the Charged Move, it is better to use Breaking Swipe in Raids. This move is easy to access due to its low cost, plus it is quite fast compared to Dragon Pulse and Outrage. This way, you’ll be able to spam it to deplete your opponent’s health bar.
All moves Regidrago can learn in Pokemon Go
The pure Dragon-type Regidrago has a very small move pool in Niantic’s game, with only one Fast Move and four Charged Moves to choose between.
Regidrago Fast Move
- Bite (Dark)
Regidrago Charged Moves
- Dragon Pulse (Dragon/STAB)
- Hyper Beam (Normal)
- Outrage (Dragon/STAB)
- Breaking Swipe (Dragon/STAB)
