Pheromosa, Buzzwole, and Xurkitree made their Pokemon Go debuts during various Go Fest 2022 events, while Kartana, Celesteela, and Guzzlord appeared throughout the Season of Light. Now, Ultra Beasts are again set to take the spotlight during Pokemon Go Fest 2024.

How to get Guzzlord in Pokemon Go
The Dark/Dragon-type Guzzlord made its debut on November 8, 2022, just one day before the Greedy Gluttons event, which focuses on ‘greedy’ or ‘heavy’ Pokemon like Snorlax and Lickitung.

How to get Kartana in Pokemon Go
The Grass/Steel-type Kartana made its debut alongside Celesteela on September 13, 2022, just a few days ahead of the Test Your Mettle event which focuses on all things Steel-type.
Kartana will be featured in 5-star Raids for Northern Hemisphere players from 6 PM to 7 PM local time on July 10, 2024.
How to get Celesteela in Pokemon Go
The Steel/Flying-type Celesteela made its debut alongside Kartana on September 13, 2022, just a few days ahead of the Test Your Mettle event which focuses on all things Steel-type.
Players in the Southern Hemisphere can face Celesteela in 5-star Raids from 6 PM to 7 PM local time on July 10, 2024.
How to get Pheromosa in Pokemon Go
The Bug/Fighting-type Pheromosa made its debut during the in-person Pokemon Go Fest Berlin event, where it featured as a Special Research story encounter for trainers who purchased a ticket.
Shiny Phermosa will debut during Pokemon Go Fest 2024. It first appeared during the Madrid event on June 14 – 16, 2024, before becoming available worldwide during the Global event on July 13 and 14, 2024.
You can add Pheromosa to your Pokedex after encountering it in 5-star Raids on July 12, 2024, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time. However, you must be located in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India.
How to get Buzzwole in Pokemon Go
The Bug/Fighting-type Ultra Beast Buzzwole made its big Pokemon Go debut as a Special Research story encounter for ticketholders during the in-person Pokemon Go Fest Seattle event.
Shiny Buzzwole will debut during Pokemon Go Fest 2024. It first appeared during the New York City event on July 5 – 7, 2024, before becoming available worldwide during the Global event on July 13 and 14, 2024.
Buzzwole will be featured in 5-star Raids from 6 PM to 7 PM local time on July 12, 2024. You must be located in the Americas or Greenland to encounter Buzzwole.

How to get Xurkitree in Pokemon Go
The Electric-type Ultra Beast Xurkitree first appeared in Pokemon Go as a Special Research story reward for players who purchased a ticket for the in-person Pokemon Go Fest Sapporo event.
Shiny Xurkitree will debut during Pokemon Go Fest 2024. It first appeared during the Sendai event on May 30 – June 2, 2024, before becoming available worldwide during the Global event on July 13 and 14, 2024.
Xurkitree will be featured in 5-star Raids from 6 PM to 7 PM local time on July 12, 2024. However, you must be located in the Asia-Pacific region to face Xurkitree.
How to get Nihilego in Pokemon Go
The Rock/Poison-type Nihilego made its debut during the global Pokemon Go Fest 2022 celebrations, where it was available to battle in 5-Star Raid Battles for just one day (Sunday, June 5, 2022).
You can face Nihilego in 5-star Raids on July 9, 2024, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time.
How to get Poipole in Pokemon Go
Trainers can earn an encounter with Poipole by completing the season-long World of Wonders Special Research quest, which ran from March 1, 2024, to June 1, 2024.
Starting in May 2024, you can evolve Poipole into Naganadel by feeding it 200 Candy and catching 20 Dragon-type Pokemon while it’s your Buddy.
How to get Stakataka in Pokemon Go
The Ultra Space Wonders event marked the debut of Stakataka in Pokemon Go. Eastern Hemisphere players can face it in 5-star Raids from 6 PM to 7 PM local time on July 11, 2024.

Ultra Space Wonders also introduced the Ultra Beast Blacephalon to Pokemon Go. Players in the Western Hemisphere can encounter Blacephalon in 5-star Raids on July 11, 2024, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time.
Can you get Necrozma in Pokemon Go?
Necrozma will debut as part of Pokemon Go Fest 2024. It first appeared in Raids during the Sendai, Madrid, and New York City events before becoming available to all during the worldwide event on July 13 and 14, 2024.
Though there’s some fan debate over whether Necrozma should be categorized as an Ultra Beast, Pokemon Go seems to be treating it as one. After a perfectly timed tease, Niantic announced the Prism Pokemon’s arrival with an alert warning of a “Surge in Ultra Wormhole activity.” The GO Fest events will also feature other Ultra Beasts alongside Necrozma.
Can you get the Ultra Beasts outside of Pokemon Go Fest?
Trainers will be able to battle Guzzlord, Nihilego, Celesteela, Kartana, Stakataka, Blacephalon, Buzzwole, Pheromosa, and Xurkitree during the Inbound from Ultra Space event from Monday, July 8, 2024, at 10 AM to Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10 AM local time.
