The Legendary Entei is coming back to Pokemon Go as a Shadow Raid boss for the Shared Skies season. So, here’s a breakdown of Shadow Entei’s best movesets for both PvP and Raid content.
Entei is part of Gen 2’s Legendary Beasts trio along with Suicune and Raikou, which debuted in Pokemon Go back in 2017, with its Shadow version arriving a few years after in 2020.
Now, it’s coming back to Shadow Raids every weekend in July. So, if you want to catch this Fire Legendary to fight along your team, here are its best movesets for PvP and Raids.

Like all Shadow Pokemon, Shadow Entei will know the Charged Move Frustration. However, certain Pokemon Go Team Rocket events allow players to change the Charged Move of Shadow Pokemon with a Charged TM.

Pokemon Go Shadow Entei best PvP moveset
The best moveset for Shadow Entei in PvP is Fire Spin as the Fast Move and Flame Charge and Scorching Sands as the Charged Moves.
Although Fire Fang offers slightly better damage output overall, you’ll want to choose Fire Spin as the Fast Move, thanks to the Energy it generates. Charged Moves are going to be helping Entei quite a bit in PvP.

As for its Charged Moves, Flame Charge is a great option thanks to its lesser energy cost and the guaranteed Attack buff it gives. The second option is a toss-up between Scorching Sands and Iron Head. Both offer decent coverage for Entei, and each has its own strengths and weaknesses.
Scorching Sands will do more damage overall, so it may be the option trainers choose. Additionally, Overheat could be a solid choice for players who want to deal massive unshielded damage, but it’s a much riskier option.

Shadow Entei’s best Raid or PvE moveset in Pokemon Go is going to be Fire Fang as the Fast Move with Overheat as the Charged Move.
In PvE content, Fire Fang’s higher damage is going to be more valuable than Fire Spin. The same can be said for Overheat. However, Flamethrower is an excellent Charge Move for attacking Gyms if you’re looking for an alternative move.
