Pokemon Go City Safari 2024 schedule: Locations, how to get tickets, special encounters

Pokemon Go’s City Safari has returned for 2024, with festivities across three cities for players to participate in.

Niantic ran three Safari Zones events in Pokemon Go in 2023, which included the introduction of Skiddo to the mobile game.

This year, Niantic will run Pokemon Go City Safari. The event will take place in three major cities around the world and will include special spawns, Special Research, and a chance to encounter rare Pokemon.

Here’s what trainers need to know about City Safari.

Pokemon Go City Safari 2024 schedule

Here are all of the Pokemon Go City Safari events currently scheduled for 2024:

Much like last year’s Safari Zone, the new City Safari will be held in three cities: Tainan, Jakarta, and Incheon. However, the Taiwan City Safari already occurred in March 2024.

Last year, Niantic held the Safari Zone is Barcelona, Spain, Seoul, South Korea, and Mexico City, Mexico.

How much are tickets for Pokemon Go City Safari 2024?

A two-day Live Event ticket for the Tainan Event cost NT$250. For the Jakarta event, participants will have to pay 25,000 IDR for a Live Event ticket. Lastly, those in the Incheon event will have to pay ₩18,000.

Individuals can also purchase special add-ons for the City Safari. You can purchase tickets for the Safari Zone events on the Pokemon Go website.

What happens during Pokemon Go Safari Zone events?

Participants in Pokemon Go City Safari will not only be able to find rare Pokemon out in the wild but also do Special and Field Research tasks.

Additionally, trades will require 50% less Stardust, and trainers’ Buddies may find special souvenirs.
