The fashionista Pheromosa is returning to Pokemon Go‘s 5-Star Raids for the Inbound from Ultra Space event. Here’s all you need to know about this Ultra Beast, including its weaknesses and best counters.
Ultra Beasts first appeared in Sun & Moon’s Alola region, and because they’re on par with Legendaries when it comes to strength and design, their appearances in Pokemon Go always have trainers excited.
One of these Ultra Beasts is Pheromosa, the cockroach-inspired Pokemon that looks ready to work the runway, and it’s coming back to 5-Star Raids as part of the Inbound from Ultra Space event.

Pheromosa weaknesses in Pokemon Go
This Ultra Beast is a Bug/Fighting-type Pokemon, which means it’s weak against Fairy, Fire, Flying, and Psychic-type attacks. It’s especially weak to Flying-type attacks, so focus on those where possible.
You’ll also need to know Pheromosa’s type resistances when heading into battle, which are Bug, Dark, Fighting, Grass, and Ground-type attacks. Do not use them at all, as they simply won’t do enough damage.

As you can see, the best counters are mostly Flying-types or Pokemon that have access to Flying-type moves, as Pheromosa is extra vulnerable to them. If you don’t have any of the counters from above, focus on your strongest Flying types with matching movesets or look to Fairy, Fire, and Psychic types instead.

How to get Pheromosa in Pokemon Go
The only way to get an Ultra Beast in Pokemon Go is by challenging it to battle, so to get Pheromosa in the game, you must defeat it in a 5-Star Raid first and then capture it with the Premier Balls you’re given.
Keep in mind that you won’t always find the Ultra Beasts in Raids, as they appear for a limited time, and they vary depending on the latest Raid rotations.
Luckily for players, Pheromosa will appear as a Raid Boss during the Inbound from Ultra Space event from July 12, 2024, until July 15, 2024,
Can Pheromosa be Shiny in Pokemon Go?
Yes, Pheromosa can be Shiny in Pokemon Go. This special version debuted during Pokemon Go Fet Madrid.
Players can challenge this Ultra Beast to try and find Shiny Pheromosa, which can be identified by its black outfit, opposite to the full white regular Pheromosa wears.
Remember that the chances of actually encountering a Shiny in the game are really low, and there’s no special method or item that can increase your odds.
