How to get Mega Beedrill in Pokemon Go
Mega Beedrill will be back in Mega Raids from November 18, 2024, until November 27, 2024. The mighty bug will be accompanied by Mega Ampharos and then they will be replaced by Mega Altaria.
However, it’s worth noting that players cannot catch a Mega-Evolved Pokemon. Instead, they must challenge Mega Beedrill for a chance to capture its regular form. Then, with the required Mega Energy, they can temporarily trigger Mega Beedrill’s form.
Once Mega Beedrill’s time in the spotlight is over, players will have to wait until it is cycled back into Mega Raids.
Can Mega Beedrill be Shiny?
Yes, Mega Beedrill can be Shiny in Pokemon Go and to increase your chances of finding one, you’ll have to challenge Mega Beedrill multiple times. If you can’t find a Shiny Mega Beedrill, finding a regular Shiny Beedrill will do the trick.

Shiny Beedrill and Shiny Mega Beedrill are instantly distinguishable from their regular counterparts by their bright green color scheme, which replaces the yellow in their design. This makes them some of the most aesthetically pleasing Shiny Pokemon in the game.
How to evolve Beedrill into Mega Beedrill
To turn a regular Beedrill into a Mega Beedrill players must gather 100 Mega Energy to trigger the Mega Evolution. After the initial transformation, the cost will drop to 20, 10, and eventually 5.
Defeating Mega Beedrill in Raids is the best way to acquire its Mega Energy. However, players can also get it by completing Collection Challenges, specific Special or Field Research tasks, or by setting a Beedrill – that has previously Mega Evolved – as their Buddy and going on walks.
