Where to find Sulfur in Palworld?
You can find Sulfur Nodes in the locations highlighted on the map above. You can also find it in underground dungeons and inside desert biomes.
While Mount Obsidian has copious amounts of Sulfur, it is an area with a bunch of high-level enemy Pals, so it’s best to stick to the Twilight Dunes which is a much more accessible area with enemy Pals ranging from level 10-20.
How to mine Sulfur?
To spot Sulfur Nodes, look for a yellowish color in the specific node, then just hit it with your Pickaxe. Sulfur can be mined by pickaxe and Pals of any mining level. However, a metal pickaxe can make things easier.

That being said, Digtoise is arguably the best Pal to mine this resource owing to its Drill Crusher partner skill. However, it is important to remember that you will need Digtoise’s Headband to use this skill. You can also use Broncherry or Cattiva which are Pals that increase your carrying capacity.
How to use Sulfur?
Sulfur is used to craft Gunpowder which is an essential component used to craft a variety of ammo for different weapons. However, before that, you will need to reach level 21 and spend 2 points on the Technology tab to unlock Gunpowder.
You will then have to craft a High-Quality Workbench and use 2x Charcoal and 1x Sulfur to craft Gunpowder.
