The first new skin revealed for this year’s Winter Wonderland event in Overwatch is “Snowboarder Zarya”, and like the name implies, it takes the Russian weightlifter and puts her right on the slopes.
Zarya is from Russia, a country famous for its winters, so she’s been an obvious candidate for winter event skins in the past.
The trend continues this year, with Legendary ‘Snowboarder Zarya’ skin as the first Winter Wonderland skin of 2018 to be revealed.
Like the name implies, Zarya looks ready to hit the slopes, maybe mess around in the terrain park a bit, before shredding some fresh powder in the trees.
Continuing with her Russian theme, the skin is covered in polar bears, from her helmet, to the charm on her backpack.

Her Particle Cannon has even been turned into a snowboard bag, complete with a carrying strap and more polar bear stickers.
Pawsitively fursome.

Since it’s Legendary, the skin will cost players 3,000 coins to buy unless they’re lucky enough to get it in a loot box.
Zarya is only the first hero to get a Winter Wonderland skin revealed, and with 6 days until the start of the event on December 11, we’re sure to see plenty more awesome winter skins.
