Overwatch reveals awesome new Zenyatta skin for Year of the Pig

The latest new Overwatch skin to be revealed for the Lunar New Year event is called “Zhuge Liang”  for Zenyatta.

So far, skins for Hanzo, Reinhardt, Reaper, Torbjörn and now Zenyatta have been announced.

The skins for this year’s Year of the Pig celebration are based on characters in the Chinese novel “Romance of the Three Kingdoms.”

Zhuge Liang might be the best skin of the Year of the Pig so far. Keeping with the apparent theme from Reinhardt, Hanzo and Torbjörn’s, Zenyatta also has a beard with his skin.

He’s also got a cool hat and Yin and Yang symbols on his belt and the back of his shirt, a pretty perfect symbol for Zenyatta’s healing and discord orbs.

Overwatch’s Lunar New Year event happens around this time every year and this year it celebrates the Year of the Rooster on the Chinese Zodiac.

The event starts on Thursday, January 24, and we’ll probably see another skin unveiled by Blizzard before then on Wednesday.

Since the event begins on a Thursday, players should wait to earn their three arcade loot boxes until the event has started.
