Overwatch pro pulls off nuttiest Genji play yet while stuck in Zarya Grav

South Korean Overwatch pro Hyojong ‘Haksal’ Kim showed that even if he’s stuck in an enemy Zarya’s Graviton Surge, he can still find a way to wipe the opposition, which is exactly what he did on stream.

The amazing play began with the Genji master receiving a repair pack from his Brigitte for some over-heal in the form of armor. This is something that any Genji player should do: asking for a repair pack before using Dragon Blade can help you survive longer and get more value from your ultimate.

As if the repair pack wasn’t enough, however, Haksal’s Ana gave him a Nano Boost which increased his attack power by fifty percent and gave him a fifty percent damage reduction. Combined with the armor from his Brigitte, the Genji player had turned into an unstoppable killing machine.

Seeing how many resources had been invested into Genji, the enemy Zarya made a smart play of using her Graviton Surge ultimate to lock the Vancouver Titans DPS star in place.

With just a minute and a half left to capture Point A and ultimates being invested, this fight was a critical moment in the game.

Still stuck in the Grav, Haksal spotted an enemy McCree lock into his line of sight while locked in his Deadeye animation. The former Runaway player sliced the cowboy up before turning his attention to the rest of his adversaries on the Rialto bridge.

After killing the McCree, the pro deflected an enemy Ana’s sleep dart right back at her, causing the support to fall to the ground and nap. He also redirected the enemy Reinhardt’s firestrike back at a Widowmaker, resulting in her death.

Once the Graviton Surge had worn off, the DPS prodigy sliced up the enemy Ana before swift striking through the Zenyatta, resulting in both enemy supports being eliminated.

To end the brilliant play, Haksal used his alternate fire on the remaining tank to score the final blow on him while the enemy Zarya decided to jump off the map instead of fighting a 1v6.
