Overwatch League fans aren’t happy with the League’s new Fanatic merch

The new Overwatch League merchandise by Fanatics has disappointed fans who bought customized jerseys.

Fanatics took over jersey production for the Overwatch League from apparel company Into the AM during the offseason, and almost soon as Fanatics posted images of their jerseys for sale, fans noticed something was off.

Player jerseys and custom jerseys didn’t seem to look the same as what’s being advertised by teams. But now that fans are starting to receive their shirts, they’re noticing that’s not the only problem.

Fans who have received custom jerseys have found that the numbers and names appear to have been ironed on, and, at least for the Atlanta Reign’s home jerseys, fans are expressing their frustrations for the underwhelming quality.

Reddit user PyroSSBM posted the back of his Dafran Atlanta Reign jersey, and captioned it “this is sad, I’m getting a refund.”

Pyro isn’t the only one either, with many fans saying they’re just going to wait it out until a higher quality product becomes available.

However, fans who got the generic jerseys, without any names or numbers, seem to be pleased with the product.

Some even noticed that the plain shirts seem to be the same jerseys from last season, complete with Into the AM branding on the collar.

Fans looking for a jersey similar to what players wear might want to wait on purchasing one, because Blizzard will probably see new and improved Overwatch League jerseys for sale later on in the season similar to 2018, they just aren’t here yet.
