Fans studying up on the latest Overwatch 2 hero have made a particularly disturbing discovery about Junker Queen, one that’s impossible to unsee once you notice it.
Junker Queen is the talk of the town leading up to the second Overwatch 2 beta, which starts June 28.
The new Tank hero actually has players excited to hop in and play, but some sharp-eyed members of the community have made a disturbing discovery about the Queen stealing everyone’s hearts: she had no belly button.

In the comments of a post on the Overwatch subreddit on the official kit of Junker Queen, user Kazzack pointed out something you’ll never be able to forget: she’s lacking a belly button.
Sure enough, where there should be naval in-between her abs there’s instead just a patch of slightly darker skin. So, what’s the deal? Well, there are a few possibilities to consider.

In her (very catchy) origin story video, the song states she was “born from the sand,” which is probably just a clever metaphor, but would explain her lack of a belly button.
However, the more realistic explanation is: Junker Queen doesn’t have a belly button because no Overwatch heroes (other than Roadhog) actually do.
It seems to be a design preference not to include actual belly buttons on Overwatch heroes for whatever reason. If you don’t believe us, just go ahead and look through Summer Games skins. You won’t find a single navel except on Roadhog.
The only reason we notice it with Junker Queen is because she’s wearing a shirt that shows off her six pack, where most other heroes base skins are fully-clothed.
So, don’t let the lack of belly button throw you off, as Junker Queen is definitely not the only hero missing one.
