An Overwatch 2 player has shared settings for some excellent character-specific crosshairs for the likes of Genji, Echo, Hanzo, and Junkrat.
Overwatch 2’s crosshair settings have long been fairly lackluster. Ever since the first game, the title has had fairly restrictive reticles, at least when compared to other first-person shooters like Valorant and Counter-Strike 2.
Both of those games have extensively customizable options when it comes to how your crosshairs look, and it’s been highly requested that Overwatch 2 see the same treatment.
Well, with Season 9, the game has included a lot more options for players to mess around with. While it’s fun to make something visually appealing, crosshairs can help you aim better, or more importantly, bring greater accessibility to the game. They are only a small piece of UI on the screen, but they can have a huge impact on your experience.
Thankfully, one helpful player has shared some awesome character-specific crosshairs for you to consider, using the new settings available.

Take a look at these helpful character reticles
In a Reddit thread with over 2.2k upvotes, user Mr_Dizzles shared six character-specific reticles for some of the game’s most uniquely firing characters. The gallery shows suggestions, including the setting numbers, for reticles for Genji, Echo, Junkrat, Hanzo, Wrecking Ball, and Illari.
The reticles have been tuned to make awkward-to-hit projectiles like Genji’s Shuriken alt-fire or Echo’s tri-blasting primary a little easier to understand or gauge at a glance. If you’d like to copy these, simply use the numbers and options in your own settings menu.
It’s great to see Blizzard bring this customizability to the game. As stated, while these settings can prove useful for all players, they allow those who need certain accessibility options to engage with the game on a level playing field. Hopefully, we see more changes coming to the feature yet.
