Mythics were introduced with the release of Overwatch 2 and the introduction of the Battle Pass. They were attainable directly through the Battle Pass to begin with.

However, with the change in Season 10, Mythics are only available to purchase in the Mythic shop which allows players to purchase older Mythics. You can purchase them with Mythic Prisms, which you can get enough to unlock a Mythic by completing the Battle Pass. Or you can buy the needed Mythic Prisms, but it will cost you real money.

The skins are designed to be the most sought-after designs in the game and will likely be the main goal for most players. This is primarily due to the difficulty in getting them, the customization options, and the increased rarity.
