Overwatch 2: Is it on Xbox Game Pass?

Overwatch 2 is on Xbox Game Pass. The devs have announced that players who link their Battle.net account to an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, or Xbox Game Pass for PC or Console by November 11 will get their hands on a bunch of goodies, including six hero skins.

You’ll also nab 30 Mythic Prisms by linking your account before November 11, so be sure not to miss out on the opportunity if you have an active membership.

It’s worth noting that Overwatch 2 is completely free to play, but has other paid components like the battle pass and PvE content. Xbox Game Pass does not give you access to these, but it seems that users who are subscribed will be able to pick up rewards like skins and more.

But before you pick up your fancy new rewards from Game Pass, it’s important you know how to link your account. You can follow the steps below to learn how to link your Battle.net account to your Xbox Game Pass account.

  1. Navigate to your Battle.net Account Connections page.
  2. Next head to Xbox Network, make sure the Xbox Account with your eligible Game Pass subscription is listed.
    • If the correct account is linked, you are good to go!
  3. If no account is listed, click the +Connect button to initiate the linking process
  4. Ensure you are linking the correct account; account links have cooldowns limiting how often they can be changed. Customer Support cannot assist with bypassing cooldowns on linking accounts.
  5. If the wrong Xbox Account is listed and it has been more than 1-year since the accounts were linked:
    • Click Disconnect
    • Click +Connect to initiate the linking process for the correct Xbox Account
  6. If the wrong Xbox Account is listed and the link cooldown has not yet expired, you will need to use a new or different Battle.net Account to link to your Xbox Account.
