Echo may have only come to Overwatch’s PTR on March 19, but fans of the game have already come up with ideas for her skins and cosmetics.

Overwatch fans are some of the most creative out there, and a new hero is a perfect opportunity for some great skin concepts.

Even though Echo had her official set of skins and cosmetics released to the PTR on March 31, that didn’t stop Redditor jlwartist from coming up with their own.

Echo’s may have a full set of skins now, but that’s never stopped Overwatch fans before.

“Orchid Nymph” is jlw’s working title for the skin, which would definitely be a Legendary if it were ever added.

Echo’s shoulder and head have been transformed into a big, beautiful flower, and she’s got vines and other plant life growing all over as well.

The best part of this skin has to be Echo’s wings. They have been transformed into gigantic flower petals that would look great as she flies around the map.

“Orchid” echo would be the perfect Overwatch skin for Spring.

The custom skin sort of resembles Echo’s actual “Butterfly” skin color-wise, but is definitely different enough to stand out on it’s own.

One user on Reddit said the skin reminded them of Lillymon, from the Digimon series, and jlwartist revealed they were probably inspired by the cartoon without even knowing it, since they were a fan when they were younger.

Even though Echo came out, we might not have to wait very long at all for a new skin to come out, even if it isn’t Orchid.

We may not have to wait long to see a new Echo skin in-game.

Overwatch’s Anniversary event usually happens in May after Archives wraps up in April. Echo made it to the PTR on March 19, which would give her roughly a month on the test realm were she to come out in towards the end of April.

Obviously this is all just guesswork, as devs have been tight-lipped about when she’ll be released from testing, but if she does come out before the next event, keep your eyes peeled for a new skin.
