Tristan Thompson has been suspended for 25 games and NBA fans have already begun mocking his violation.

Cleveland Cavaliers star Tristan Thompson, 32, has been suspended for 25 games without pay for violating the league’s anti-drug policy.

Thompson, a 2016 NBA champion, tested positive for a pair of substances that have been banned by the league’s anti-doping program.

Though his suspension may come as a surprise, NBA fans have started to poke fun at Thompson for ‘cheating’ both on and off the court.

Thompson began playing with the Cavaliers for nine years in 2011 before being traded to the Celtics in 2020.

He continued to say in his IG caption, “Manifested big things. We started here in the land together in 2011 and through thick and thin you were mine.”

However, as of January 23, Thompson has been suspended for using performance-enhancing drugs. The drugs, ibutamoren and SARM LGD-403, are used for strength and recovery.

NBA fans have since reacted to Thompson’s suspension, mocking him for ‘cheating’ both on and off the court.

One fan even made a list of the three guarantees in life. “Death, taxes, and Tristan Thompson cheating at any available opportunity.”

Another fan asked, “Does Tristan Thompson ever trend for something other than cheating?” While someone else said that if there’s one thing Thompson is ‘good for, it’s cheating’.

Though fans have compared Thompson’s anti-drug violation to his cheating on Khloe, the two are not currently in a relationship, having broken up amicably in 2021.

As for Thompson’s return to the NBA, he’ll be eligible to play with the Cavaliers in mid-March.
