Taylor Swift took a moment during one of her Grammy Awards acceptance speeches to announce a new album. Surprisingly, it’s not Reputation (Taylor’s Version). This is something new entirely.

Taylor Swift is now a 13-time Grammy Award winner. During the 66th awards ceremony, the pop singer took home Pop Vocal Album for her 2022 released album, Midnights, which features the smash single “Anti-Hero.”

“Ok, this is my 13th Grammy,” she began her speech, “which is my lucky number. I don’t know if I’ve ever told you that. I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way. But I know the way that the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans.”

Taylor Swift reveals her 11th all-original studio album

During her acceptance speech, Swift finally revealed something that she’d been “keeping from you for two years,” she said.

Swift’s 11th all-original studio album is titled The Tortured Poets Department, and it arrives on April 19, 2024. Moments later, the pop star posted the moody cover art and a new chapter teaser on social media.

On a handwritten note, Swift wrote, “And so I enter into evidence, my tarnished coat of arms. My muses, acquired like bruises, my talismans and charms. Tick, tick of love bombs, my veins of pitch black ink.”

The note continued, “All’s fair in love and poetry. Sincerely, the chairman of the Tortured Poets Department.”

Taylor Swift walked away from the 2024 Grammy Awards with Pop Vocal Album, beating out the likes of Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, Kelly Clarkson, and Ed Sheeran, and Album of the Year. She becomes the only lead artist to take the crown four times in their career.

The pop star was also up for Song and Record of the Year (both for “Anti-Hero”), Best Pop Solo Performance (“Anti-Hero”), Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (“Karma” with Ice Spice), and Album of the Year for Midnights.
