Mortal Kombat 1: Release date, platforms, trailer, fighters, more

NetherRealm

Mortal Kombat 1 marks the twelfth mainline entry in the MK franchise. NetherRealm has delivered another sumptuous package of vicious violence, and we’ve whipped up a detailed hub of everything you need to know.

Mortal Kombat 1 offers a fresh take on an already deep, detailed, and dark world. It reboots the complex universe where good fights evil and MK1 sees the forces of Earthrealm once again go to war with the presence of Outworld.

The devs over at NetherRealm have made some key changes to the MK format. Kameo fighters now reshape the way a match of MK plays out. Alongside that, the new Invasion Mode presents a unique single-player offering never seen before in a Mortal Kombat title.
