Treasures in Monopoly Go, alongside the Peg-E Prize Drop and Partner Event, are arguably the big three events. Neither have a fixed schedule, but they follow a pattern where we can predict a ballpark for the next date.
Greek Treasures was the last dig event of the dice roller and was featured in late July. We already know full details on the next one, including the rewards – yes, there is a Wild Sticker this time!
Next Dig Event start & end dates in Monopoly Go
Per leaks, the next Treasures Event in Monopoly Go will start on August 8, 2024, and will end on August 12. It is called Dino Treasures, and you probably have already guessed the theme. If it follows the usual schedule, here are its potential start and end times:
- Start time: August 8 at 8 AM CDT / 9 AM ETD / 6 AM PDT / 2 PM BST
- End time: August 12 at 2:59 PM CDT / 3:59 PM EDT / 12:59 PM PDT / 8:59 PM BST
It’ll feature 25 levels, and the grand prizes are Wild Sticker, Cash, and 3,000 dice. In total you’ll get 5,925 dice, along with the usual cash, an event-themed Shield, and a board token.

Keep in mind these are all based on leaks and nothing has been confirmed by Scopely. Usually, the developers reveal just as the event goes live.
While Treasures Events don’t have a fixed schedule, they arrive either once a month or twice. The last one was on July 26 and the coming will be the one for August.

What is Treasures Event in Monopoly Go?
In Monopoly Go Treasures Events, you “dig” treasure using Pickaxe Tokens. There will be various grids, and once you hit them with enough Pickaxes, a treasure will be revealed. The more of those you collect, the more rewards you get.
You can collect Tokens for the mini-game through Quick Wins, solo events, tournaments, and free gifts in Shop.
What happens to the leftover Pickaxes?
Any Pickaxe Tokens not used during the event are converted to dice rolls. They do not carry over and are converted as the event is over. This is similar to Partners, where leftovers are converted to cash.
