If you’re wondering how to get Gold Stickers in Monopoly Go, including ways that do not require you to cough out your hard-earned dollars, here are all the many ways to grab them while playing.

You’re not really a tycoon if you don’t have a shiny collection of gold to show off, and in Monopoly Go, Gold Stickers are a rare find. You’ll need them to complete sticker collections for the featured Album for the opportunity to earn big dice rolls and cash rewards.

So, with all that said, here is how to get Gold Stickers in Monopoly Go.

How to get Gold Stickers in Monopoly Go

The most reliable ways to get free Gold Stickers in Monopoly Go are through sticker packs awarded in events and Quick Wins. Here are the many ways you can get the Gold Stickers in Monopoly Go:

Events

Events in Monopoly Go are usually packed with rewards, and after reaching certain milestones, you’ll be rewarded with sticker packs that have the chance to drop Gold stickers.

Sticker Packs range in color, with Green being the most common and Magenta being the hardest to get. The Magenta sticker packs guarantee at least one five-star sticker, making them a good goal for those trying to flesh their Gold Sticker collection out.

Blue and Magenta are the best packs for Gold Sticker drops, but that doesn’t mean good luck with a Green, Gold, or Pink pack isn’t possible.

Take the now-ended Boardwalk Bonanza for example, upon reaching Milestone Level 42, you’d receive a Blue Sticker Pack. Plenty of other events—from special to main, and even leaderboard—may have packs as their rewards. If you need to keep track of these events, check our schedule guide.

Because there is almost always an event featured in the game, it is one of the most consistent sources for stickers in Monopoly Go, and by extension, the highest chance for Gold ones.

Quick Wins

Rare, but still a chance, to get a Gold Sticker with Quick Wins.

Quick Wins, as the name implies, are small activities that you can complete daily. Just as you boot up the game, you’ll see a “WINS” button on the bottom left, click on it and it’ll show you a series of simple challenges like “Roll 5 times.”

Players who complete Quick Wins each day will win green, pink, and gold sticker packs through the weekly progression bar and the Quick Wins rewards. Finishing the whole week will award tycoons a Magenta Pack.

Shop

The easiest and most expensive way to get Gold Cards is through a shop. Just click on the shop icon above, and you can purchase multiple packs of different rarities. You can even check their drop rates by clicking on the “i” icon above.

We, personally, do not encourage you to spend money on the game to get these packs just to have a shot at dropping Gold. While completing sets does look cool, you’ll only ever be rewarded with Cash and Dice Rolls—two things that will be available in abundance if you play your cards right, like always looking out for free dice rolls

Wild Stickers

One of the other easier but sparse ways to get Gold Cards in Monopoly Go is through Wild Stickers. Some events, like the Tycoon Racers, reward Wild Stickers. These special stickers allow you to create one that you don’t have, of any rarity, and that includes Gold.

Wild Stickers are perhaps the sure-shot way to get a Gold Sticker in the game.

These are the most common ways to get Gold Stickers in Monopoly Go. However, there are other relatively less reliable ways to get Gold, like Daily Treats and Monopoly Wheel.

How to trade Gold Cards in Monopoly Go

You can trade Gold Stickers in Monopoly Go, but only when the Golden Blitz event is active. It does occur often, but there’s no fixed schedule, so when it’ll arrive next is anyone’s guess. When it is featured, here’s to trade cards:

  1. Open Monopoly Go! (obvious one this, innit?)
  2. Click on the Golden Blitz event icon.
  3. There will be a list of stickers, and you’ll see a “Send” option underneath.
  4. Click “Send” for the one you want to trade.
  5. Then, click on your friend from the friend list.
  6. Now, all you do is wait for your mate to do the due diligence.

There is a limit of five cards per day, give and take, during the event. Be mindful of scams, if you’re really trading with friends, you’re good, but it can be dicey from any random guy on the internet. At least, if your friends cross you, you can knock on their door.

What are Gold Stickers used for in Monopoly Go?

Golden Stickers in Monopoly Go are used to complete sets in the album, and upon completing one, you’ll be rewarded with Dice Rolls and Cash. There is little use of it outside of the collection purposes and the sense of “pride and accomplishment” that you get from having a full deck of these digital tokens.

That’s everything you need to know about Gold Stickers and how to bag them. Be sure to check out our Monopoly Go section for the latest and most helpful guides.
