College Football 25 lets you live the life of a student-athlete in Road to Glory mode and that journey can carried to the NFL in Madden 25’s Superstar Mode.
Road to Glory has returned in College Football 25, and the single-player mode lets you step into the shoes of a college footballer. You can create your own player and follow their journey from the first steps on the College football field all the way to the NFL.
If you’re keen to hop into Madden 25 too, you can even transfer your player’s progress into the other football sim to keep simulating their career.
How to transfer RTG save to Madden 25
To transfer your Road to Glory save over to Madden 25 you’ll need to meet some requirements first, these include:
- Own a copy of College Football 25 & Madden 25
- Progress to the point in Road to Glory where one can go to the pros.
- College football players can’t declare for the NFL Draft until after they’re three years removed from high school, meaning they must be at least a junior or redshirt sophomore.
Once these requirements have been met, you’ll be able to transfer your save by following the steps below:
- After the end of your player’s third college season, you should notice a ‘Leave for the NFL’ tab on the Actions screen.
- Click on the tab, and you’ll be met with two options: retire from college football or export the file to Madden.
- Choose the export option to transfer your file over.
After this, go into Madden 25 Superstar Mode, select the same position and players will get a notification to import the file. This will also accelerate player growth and move over awards earned in College Football 25.

Be mindful that this must be done on the same account as the CFB 25 file.
The ability to do this follows through what football fans could do with NCAA Football and Madden during the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 era of these games.
In the old NCAA Football games, an option to transfer career modes from one to another was also available. Users could transfer a Road to Glory or Dynasty save file from NCAA Football into Madden, so long as the proper queues were followed in the transfer.
