RNG make incredible gesture for family scammed by fake Worlds tickets

Popular Chinese League of Legends organization Royal Never Give Up made an incredible gesture for a group of their fans who were scammed into buying fake tickets to Worlds 2019.

For League of Legends esports competition, there is no greater event than World Championship at the end of each year, and fans from all over the world flock to attend.

Worlds 2019 was scheduled to take place in three of Europe’s capital cities, however, one family who had made the long journey from China for the Group Stage matches were left disappointed after realizing they had apparently purchased fake tickets.

Riot GamesThe Chinese squad of RNG is known for their top ADC player, Uzi.

The story was shared by the North American interviewer Travis Gafford, who claimed that it was a mother and daughter who had traveled from China to Berlin before realizing what had happened.

“A mother and daughter applied for visas from China and flew to Berlin to support RNG, only to find out they’d purchased fake tickets,” Travis explained.

Fortunately for them, staff from the pair’s favorite team, RNG, went out of their way by giving up their own passes, he revealed, “RNG staff gave up their own passes so both could watch the games today.”

Even the official League of Legends Twitter account was impressed with the gesture from the RNG staff, commenting with some hearts in support after seeing what had happened.

RNG’s roster is currently competing in what many have deemed to be the group of death at Worlds 2019, with teams such as SK Telecom T1 and Fnatic standing in their way of the knockout stages.

However, the Chinese fans will likely be cheering loudly for RNG as their fate for Worlds will be decided on October 19.

Regardless of RNG’s result, the Chinese team’s popular bot laner Jian ‘Uzi’ Zi-Hao is enjoying his time at Worlds 2019, even taking the time to play charades with Faker in a hilarious meeting.
