NBA and Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic lit up during an interview question at the All-Star game after someone asked him about League of Legends.

It’s a running joke in the NBA that Jokic is undeniably one of the most talented players in the sport today, but would rather be doing anything else than playing basketball. The Serbian national often talks in interviews and press conferences about going home to his country and his horses during the off-season instead of not hunkering down and training for the next season.

After winning the 2023 NBA Finals trophy, and bringing the franchise its first title, Jokic was famously disappointed that he still had to go to work the next week for the city’s parade.

NBA media now try to get the player animated in interviews by talking about anything but basketball, and at the 2024 NBA All-Star game someone asked him about League of Legends.

Jokic reveals his mains and role in League of Legends

Jokic has said that he played the Riot Games MOBA in the past and that he ranks around Silver, but hasn’t talked much about his favorite champions or what roles he likes to play.

When asked about the game by FanDuel, Jokic’s face instantly lit up and he revealed that he is playing Bruisers in the top lane at the moment.

“I’m a top and, who am I playing right now? I’m playing Urgot and Illaoi and I’m going to say those two,” he said.

Both Urgot and Illaoi have decent win rates in Season 14 and Riot Games is looking at both champions in its recent League of Legends updates.
